Convention of Chuenpeh
Under the terms of the convention, the Qing government would cede Hong Kong Island (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Kong_Island) to the United Kingdom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom) and China would also pay an indemnity of $6 million and let the British have free access to the port of Guangzhou (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guangzhou). The convention specifically allowed the Qing government to continue collecting tax at Hong Kong, which was the main "clogging" point that led to the disagreement according to Lord Palmerston (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Temple,_3rd_Viscount_Palmerston)

No since people like you call japanese evil colonialists and other bad names but brits and french were doing the samething all over the world. Are you proud when France tortured people during the Algerian War? :D As for what the chinese say about Japan. So why is China in Tibet doing the same things it says Japan did during WW2?

French colonial empire crimes
First Indochina War December 19, 1946 – August 1, 1954
Franco–Thai War October 1940–May 9, 1941
Vietnam War France left to Algeria on 1950–1954
Because of France colonialism collapses the Vietnam War starts 1959 – April 30, 1975
Millions of people die because of the Vietnam War and it would have never happend if France would have never had the French Indochina
Algerian War 1 November 1954 – 19 March 1962
Operation Musketeer France colonialist planned to invade Egypt in 1956
Boxer Rebellion in China
Franco-Turkish War started because France wanted the Çukurova region
Second Opium War 1856-1860
So still feel like blaming the Empire of Japan for colonialism? :D

Your inability to think is telling.
One evil does not excuse another. The evils of the Japanese does not automatically exonerate the damage that Britain did to China or vice versa.
Your dishonest ability to even have the balls to state your case but instead go about making BS and weaseling claims and many unrelated statements on things you know nothing about is telling. If you have a point, state it instead of acting like you are even interested in having a debate. You are a joke.

I think we can sum up moon's view of the world like this.
Because lots of countries have been involved in bad things no one should feel bad for the jews and the entire holocaust should just be forgotten. Further more all of the axis powers of WWII were unfairly treated and the real bad guys were the allies. The United states is under ZOG control.
He will not answer any questions or address any of the points that anyone else makes. Once his point is completely destroyed he will abandon this thread and start a new one about something else equally ignorant.

Obviously not. He is already ranting about other perceived injustices prosecuted against the poor and helpless NAZI's.
The thing is I don't think these are his own thoughts or he would be able to post more than 3 sentences at a time. He must be influenced by another poster at a forum that is friendly to his brand of lunacy or, worst case, it is a father or some other strong presence in his life that is giving him these 'ideas.'
Either way it is disturbing.

Wasn't Finland a Swedish colony?
I might get eaten now by someone who actually knows history better than I do, but I don't think it could be characterised as a "colony" in any way.
Either way, I seem to recall from some old maps that the division between Sweden and Finland back in the days was not the same as the one we have now. However, the border was placed where it is because there's a convenient river there. If the Finnish have claims on Karelia, according to Moon, then Sweden surely has claims to northern Finland and Åland. Well, to all of Finland, I guess, or at least the western parts where people talk a bit of Swedish (1). Once the financial crisis in those parts are over, we'd also like Estonia, Ingria, Livland, and Kurland back, and no one who's ever been there can say that getting Trondheim back would not be desirable. As for Skåneland, well the Danish can get that back if they promise not to take Bohuslän as well.
