I was listening to a radio broadcast via the internet and was suprised to hear one segment where people phoned in extolling the virtues of Penta Water. I admit, that I was in bed and drifting in and out of consciousness as I heard the show, but I swear I heard a woman say that imbibing the substance relieved a medical condition. Pretty impressive for just water. Unfortunately that is all i can recall; perhaps I'll hear it again sometime and submit a larger post.

If you search the archives you should find quite a few threads on Penta Water. Randi also had a fair bit to say about it in a couple of his commentaries last year (or was it the year before). I think the idea of Penta Water is that it prevents clumping of the water molecules. or some such guff.

I am aware of what Randi said about Penta water, I heard him discuss it at length on a webcast. I bring this up, since it is the first I have heard of the nonsense outside of the forum or the webcast. Randi did mention that owner of the Penta website got rid of outlandish comments of what this water could do, but apparently they're still making absurd claims on the radio.

When I had my beach house, I would use Penta on the deck boards. They have outlawed the stuff now I think. I don't think I would have dared to drink any of this.:D I'm just hoping now, I didn't absorb too much of the stuff through my bare feet. There is a saying, "If you put Penta in your shoes, you will smell it on your breath." :D

I got into it with a woowoo on a quack med site that was convinced penta water hydrated more effectively than ordinary tap water. Couldn't convince him otherwise, this guy was WAY out there...
