I've always wondered myself why the Jews/"Zionists" are so often blamed for everything.

What would be gained by such a move against the financial markets? Oh I've read what the CT wooers say are the reasons, but they make no sense; even if I bought into some "J/Z" cabal bent on world domination (which of course I don't!) I can't see the logic.

But alas, it's not about logic is it? It's about fear mongering to those of the CT prone bent.

Maybe there are Jews who would like to rule the world...just as there are Christians, Muslims, Taoists, atheists and agnostics etc. with predispositions to meglomania...but if I were one of the "puppetmasters", I could think of better ways to use all these vast powers this version of the SUPPOSED *snicker* NWO possesses.

Come on. How many times have we seen this happen? Every time a calamity of any sort befalls the West, it's a damned Zionist conspiracy - or it will be as soon as the right type of people hear about it and fire up their "forum fingers."

As the Jews were ostracized from most professions by local rulers, the church and the guilds, they were pushed into marginal occupations considered socially inferior, such as tax and rent collecting and moneylending. This was said to show that Jews were insolent, greedy usurers. Natural tensions between creditors and debtors were added to social, political, religious, and economic strains.


In Europe, most Christians were bared by law from charging interest on loans, so of course very few Christians ever lent money, since there was no benefit to them. Thus, Jews, who were allowed to charge interest, became the bankers by default, and were on the receiving end of all the "Evil Banker" negative connotations.

This is a problem with so many claimed conspiracies. The Jews/NWO/MMB or whatever always seem to be bent on destroying civilisation at the same time they're apparently trying to control it. The logic seems to go something along the lines of:
1) Destroy civilisation.
2) Take control of civilisation.
3) ???
4) Profit!

Of course, it gets even worse when you notice that in order to actually carry out their plans they usually would need the amount of control that those plans are supposed to give them. So you end up with it actually looking more like:
1) Take control of civilisation.
2) Destroy civilisation.
3) Take control of civilisation.
4) ???
5) Profit!

The sad part (OK, one of the sad parts) is that it's really not difficult to come up with a vaguely plausible conspiracy. Just look at things like the X Files and Deus Ex. They may not work too well in the real world, but at least they're internally consistent and follow some kind of logic. Anyone with half a brain and a half decent imagination could come up with far more effective and more plausible conspiracies than actual conspiracy nuts ever seem to manage.

And this is one major reason why we keep getting inflated claims out of these guys. The motivation of their supposed Conspiracy simply makes no sense. If they already control all banking and finance, dictate who wins elections and/or who is the next heir to the throne, control all TV, radio, movies and other media, control all medicine, and access to advanced technologies, why the hell aren't they happy with the Status Quo?

It makes no sense for them to suddenly decide to start a war, or plan to kill 80% of humanity, as the CTs like Alex Jones claim. Unless! Unless they're demon-worshipping alien psychopaths from Planet Ten! Then it makes sense!

So the CTists just keep getting deeper into the woo, trying to come up with some sort of plausible motivation.
