View Full Version : God a testable hypothesis, maybe?

In general, I have no use for this hypothesis, but...

Hypothesis: The universe was willed into existence.

For convenience and out of tradition, call the being that did this "God".

Assume also that God isn't being deliberately deceptive in creation, but is indifferent to being "proven".

Leave aside where God came from, whether "He" is a loving God, or any particular claims about His name, miracles, salvation, afterlife, prophets, etc.

Could this hypothesis possibly be testable?

I see no logical reason it couldn't be.

What sort of traces to look for, if any?
