I think we all know that the CTers want bad things to happen - mainly because these people live sheltered lives and have never had to face any real adversity, and don't understand that if the horrible things they predict so often were to actually occur that life would be rough and it wouldn't be like it is in the movies.
But I've never seen them admit it so openly that they are hoping for chaos:

Even more evidence that all of the doom and gloom mongering CTs engage in is far more a function of hope and trying to get something to occur by wishing it into existence than it is anything real. Not that we needed more evidence, but the thread was a hilarious read. If the utter doom these people want so badly were to really occur, they'd be praying within 5 minutes to have back the good life of making up doom on the internets.

I have noticed a bunch of the posts there talk about buying seeds...
So let me get this straight! If this country were to spiral into chaos with riots and looting and what not, I should assume that my little garden of squash in my back yard will be safe?:boggled:

I didn't even think of that because I was laughing so hard at their seeming total ignorance of farm supply stores.

Ah, but these seeds are "heirloom" seeds, with none of that NWO GMO crap that the sheeple-controlled farm supply stores would sell you!

And the fields will be plowed with a rock tied to a stick!

If the Truthers actually had to depend on their farming skill to survive, they would starve very quickly.
As for hoping for the collapse of Civilization, we have a couple posters here who I think fit into that category.
And almost all of them are truthers,Funny that.

For some reason the movie "Idiocracy" comes to mind. Using power drinks to water crops because it has what plants crave...Electrolytes!

And the Irony is that a lot of Truthers love "Idiocracy", seeing themselves as a intellectual elite.....

The woos are distraught today because the markets had such a huge rally. Of course, all rallies are staged by the NWO but all crashes are legitimate stock market events.
:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Come the meltdown, I am starting as a supplier of Magic Beans.
Then, all the CTs cows will be mine.
Even if they don't have cows.

Let's face it, when you're at the bottom of the economic pyramid, any kind of upheaval sounds pretty good in theory. In practice however....
Anybody track this guy Celente? He's certainly a good self-promoter (http://www.theweeklybeat.net/2008/01/18/coudoctordoom.html). He's featured in Alex Jones' new Obama Deception.

Yeah, there is a thread in the economics forum about him - classical doom and gloom prophet. "Trends research" = predicting constant doom.

The real danger is that if the world around them does not create the chaos they desire..they will show some initiative and do it themselves.
This is my real fear about Alex Jones.
Or, worse, they will make believe that the chaos that has not happened..did occur..and they will order their troops to "take back" America.

I just listened to the first 30 seconds or so of the Gerald Celente interview:
"Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary; you know, they're all gone, they're under water."
NO WAY! With these economic behemoth's under water we're all dooooooomed!!!!!!
ETA: I just then had a look at the screencaps of the ATS member Vlogs, and another piece of the puzzle falls into place. It might be harder to leave the conspironut cocoon when you're in there with a bevy a young beauties, yowza!
