So, I'm browsing late at night for my next career (it's not looking good) and lo and behold, what should my wandering eye should appear but a casting call for a new Discovery woo-woo show! Here's the details of what they are looking for... I would love for a skeptic to slip in. Now, warning... I have never applied on this website before so I can not vouch for the validity of the info. (but living here in Hollywood, anything's possible)


Discovery Channel is now casting for hosts and experts of all ethnicities for "The Gray Area," a new series about unexplained phenomena. Casting directors are looking for submissions from people 28 - 65 years old.

They are specifically seeking men and women with great personalities in the one of the following fields:
- Scientists
- Journalists - Investigative Reporters etc.
- Paranormal Specialists
- Investigators - Detectives, Private I's, Cold Case Detectives etc.
- Ghost Hunters
- FBI Agents
- Forensic Scientist
- Academic Historians
- Social Anthropologists
- Pop Culture Specialists
- Authors of books on the paranormal
- Engineers who know how machines work etc.

* Must be a credible expert in one of these fields. Please only submit if you meet this requirements.

Haha, this rules!

I'm definitely as like-minded as most of you here on the board, however I am involved with a "paranormal research" group (it's fun!), and I'd love a shot at this.

I just signed up. Vote for me, and I promise to raise some hell with the woo believers if considered.

It's because the 'establishment' is trying to suppress the truth of Skeptelligent Design. We need to start the Institute for Skeptological Research.

Like CENOBITE, I think it would be great to get some rational folks snuck in!

And like Mark Siefert, I can't help but notice that Skeptologists seems to be getting ignored. :(

Unfortunately they control the editing process. You wouldn't make it very far. (I was going to say that you'd end up on the cutting room floor, but this is the digital age.)
