I suspect I'm missing something terribly obvious, so if I am, feel free to hassle me. I'd do it to you. :D

On some sites I use regularly, such as http://www.news10.net/ and http://www.campbellkitchen.com (http://www.campbellkitchen.com/) , the "remember me" feature doesn't seem to work. On News10, I stay logged in until I restart my browser, Campbell's Kitchen requires login every visit even though I've set the site to remember me.

JREF keeps me logged between visits, browser/system restarts, etc., just fine, as does AllRecipes (I do not expect my utility companies to do this for info security reasons).

I'm using Firefox (currently 3.0.7) on 32-bit Vista.

What am I missing on getting this to work right?

A sledgehammer and a Mac. :D

(In all seriousness, I have the same problem with some sites. News 10's a miserable site, anyway, as are most Sacramento stations. So this is no surprise.)

You and Bob will like each other (yes, we do plan to try to connect IRL). He's a MacPerson too.

I wonder if News10 bothers to use proofreaders (I'm not nuts about KCRA or CBS13 either).
