View Full Version : Why was Dr. Greening banned?

Greetings all.
I'm a longtime viewer and minimal contributor (I've posted one thread prior to this) named Mark. Anyway, I was (this is so embarrassing) a truther until late last year. Fortunately, I started objectively looking at the evidence.

Enough of introductions, I really was hoping someone could direct me to a thread outlining Greening's banning (I've looked and couldn't locate anything) or perhaps just post the reasons here.

I hope this isn't too irrelevant a matter for it's own thread-it probably is and for that I emphatically apologize.

Thanks in advance and I offer my humble salutations to all.

Ciao~

Mark

Here's what his ban notice says.

Apollo20 has been banned. The circumstances are rather unusual so I will place some explanation here.

Apollo20 has contacted a Member's employer in an attempt to force that Member to retract and apologize for comments they had made here. (The complaints to the employer included unsubstantiated allegations and threats of legal action). From our records only one of the posts that Apollo20 complained about resulted in any Moderator action.

Whilst we do not usually concern ourselves with events beyond the Forum we are not willing to allow someone to have an active Membership here who carries out such egregious acts, especially when they use them to bully a Member in an attempt to control what they can and cannot post here.

(The JREF was informed of the details of this matter prior to this decision and we do have evidence of the events described in this notice.)

Two who don't post regularly here talking about the banning of a third member I've never heard of who apparently did a crazy-person thing...? Circular file!

No need to be embarrassed. There's a few ex-conspiracists here. I got into and out of the Alex Jones mythology well before 9/11, but it was still the same kind of stupid back then.

Some people grow up, some people don't. But don't be ashamed to be one of those who did.

Well I can't thank you enough for your encouragement, Sword_Of_Truth.

Stacko, I thank you for the clarification.

Magnifico2.0, Dr. Frank Greening's bio is posted at 911myths or you may simply Google his name for his impressive credentials-he posted here as Apollo20.

At any rate, the circumstances surrounding his banning are more than apt to justify it.

I was merely curious as he has authored oft-cited, peer-reviewed material concerning the WTC and has also worked in conjunction with the likes of Zdenek P. Bazant so, naturally, I couldn't help but wonder what prompted his dismissal.
My goodness.

My goodness indeed. I saw your handle and for some reason got markemark out of it.

Well, this is certainly a Funky Bunch here and you should get many "Good Vibrations" in your time at this place.
