Is TV really getting stupider or am I just turning into a curmudgeon? I know, I know, false dichotomy.

The Canadian version of The History Channel, History Television, instead shows stuff like NCIS, CSI: New York, and various Hollywood movies (though in between they often have a good assortment of documentaries and programs, some home grown and others imported).
