So they're right 99% of the time, they always cite their own references, and they quickly update their pages on the rare occasion that they're wrong.

What would qualify as "credible" to you?

I like Snopes, I think its a reliable source, and I dont expect any bias from them at all.

I guess next time I should be more clear to post your comments in the other thread, not here. This thread was intended only to steer people to that other thread and to discuss it there. Unfortunately, this forum software doesn't accomodate true cross-posting, so we have to do it the hard way.
