A stunning Russian foreign ministry report is stating today that president Obama has ordered the immediate opening of Americas vast gulag of Fema camps built since 2001. They wern't built for nothing and now it seems that America is on the cusp of serious trouble, can anyone add to this.

Yes, I can add to this that its not true. Your source is - SURPRISE - two youtube doom and gloom prophets that are seeking attention (and finding it from enthusiastic CTers who lap up EVERYTHING they say):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rT8tZwxlYo
I am amazed at the level of stupidity CTers will go to just to "Believe". Here we have two people who have absolutely no proof for what they claim, but because it is what you so desperately want to believe you eat it all up.
"FEMA camps" as woos like you envision do not exist. FEMA has very wisely decided that building shelters at strategic regional locations in order to quickly give victims of natural disaster the aid they need is better than having another "Katrina" every single time we have a large scale natural disaster. The visions of Germany style concentration camps that CTers get so excited over is merely a vision and hope for doom that they want in order to bring excitement to their terribly mundane lives.
The most ironic thing is that if FEMA didnt build these camps and we had another large natural disaster where recovery efforts were screwed up because the agency did not make changes like this, CTers like you would decry THAT as a conspiracy to murder people.

L.in D. Lets hope you are right for once. If the Fema camps don't exist what are all the photo's ? 600 camps across America? The answer should show in the next week or so. Wonder if any Masons will get interned.

I'm not perfect, but my ratio of right versus wrong with you is about 1000:1 in my favor.
FEMA camps do exist. They have nothing to do with what you think they do. They are not there to randomly round up people and kill them, and never have been. They are emergency shelters made to temporarily provide for natural disaster victims. You may have heard why we need them. Its called Katrina. The end. (Wait for it...wait for it...I'm going to be told the evil gubment seeded the clouds and steered Katrina, then bungled the recovery on purpose, all to make me feel safe about FEMA camps!)
Oh and most of those pictures I've seen are hilarious - once I was looking and one of shipping warehouses near my area was proclaimed a FEMA death camp.
No one is getting interned, no matter what you hope for.

So, does that mean they are letting out all the prisoners that Bush and his cronies put in these FEMA camps? They are probably packed with truthers who are bound to break open the 9/11 conspiracy. Isn't that a good thing?
By the way, do you have a source?

FEMA detention camps? Again??
First Clinton was going to open them. Then W was going to open them. Now Obama's going to open them. When the hell is anyone going to open them???
Sheesh.
Oh and most of those pictures I've seen are hilarious - once I was looking and one of shipping warehouses near my area was proclaimed a FEMA death camp.
Yeah. The supposed camp at Beech Grove, Indiana was brought up here in the forum back in '07 (http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?postid=3236097#post3236097), and that probably wasn't the first time. As I pointed out then, that is actually an Amtrak repair and storage facility.
Really, this whole "FEMA Concentration Camps" thing is so overblown. It keeps getting recycled. You'd think the conspiracy-addicted geniuses peddling this junk here would come up with something new by now, but nooooo... same old over and over again.

Well, it's about time. I for one was getting really mad at the waste of my tax money.
I mean, why build a nationwide chain of secret prison camps and then never use them?
More government profligacy.

Well they are a government project, surely you weren't expecting them to open on time?
Actually, it's worse than that. They're a world government project. That adds whole new layers of bureaucracy and incompetence, so no wonder they're so far behind.
In fact, it's even worse than that. They're a secret world government project. Not only do they have ordinary government problems scaled up, but they've got to do the whole thing in secret without anyone, except anyone with access to the internet, noticing. That's bound to slow things down. It also adds the slight problem that when they do finally open, it will be done secretly and no-one will actually notice.

Hell, Nixon was the first who going to open Federal Concentration Camps. This crap CT goes back a long way.
The only things that change are the name of the President and the FEMA angle.Other then that is it old, old, old.

Not to mention that there would probably be a waiting list to get in to them, and once there the guillotines would keep breaking; then Congress would have hearings. It's the waiting that'll kill ya, am I right? ;)

Yeah, but for the love of God, at this rate humans will be extinct by the time they actually open! There'll be no one to intern at the internment camp! There'll be nobody to concentrate at the concentration camp! There'll be none left to FEMA at the FEMA ca...
Wait... that last doesn't make any sense... :boggled:
Anyway, if they're screwing up the part where they just put up the buildings, my GOD, just how bad will they eff up the actual internment?? Watch someone screw things up so badly, the NWO itself ends up inside the wire! :D
Then they'll turn it into some sort of swanky resort and charge people to stay . FEMA Spa and Retreat Center: Swimming pool, saunas, 24 hour buffet... just pay your monthly fee, make cursory nods towards the fact there's barbed wire along the perimeter, and luxuriate alongside the Powers That Be! Shiatsu, or Swedish? Italian food, or Chinese? Resistance pool, or hot tub? Yeah... I think there's the makings of a plan there! :D

I think these folks look to pop culture for inspiration.
The rock star who became president in the 1968 flick Wild in the Streets had concentration camps for anybody over 30.
And shockingly, even Robin the Boy Wonder got involved in internment fever:

Whenever a woo claims a Russian source for yet another "EEk! the end is nigh!" post, the well-versed connoisseur of paranoid conspiracism bops over to whatdoesitmean.com to see if its just Sucha Fool at it again.
And sure enough...
A stunning Russian Foreign Ministry report is stating today that the President Obama has secretly ordered the ‘immediate’ opening of America’s vast gulag of concentration camps, built since 2001 and estimated able to hold a further 1 million of their citizens, which is aside from the 2.3 million currently imprisoned in what has become the World’s largest Prison Nation in all of history, in what they are calling Project ENDGAME.
sauce (http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1210.htm)
In the same column Sucha claims that there was a famine that killed 10 million Americans during the Great Depression.
David Booth (the site owner and author of these screeds; there is no Sorcha Faal) is becoming more unhinged than usual, it seems.

You've obviously never worked for a bureaucracy before, and certainly never a (quasi-) government bureaucracy. Let me explain how it works:
First rule is, no job is ever completely finished, since if you finish it, you either have to find a new job, or get downsized. Thus, everyone involved is quietly working to ensure that the job never ends.
But, you say, I've seen estimates of workload, and projections of how long things will take! Yes, estimates and projections created by the very same people who are trying to avoid having to find real work!
But, how can they get away with doing this forever? Won't someone complain about the endless delays, and missed deadlines? Well, yes, but when they do, you explain how the delays are being implemented so as to allow time for improvements in the project that will, once the project is actually finished, make things work so fast, that it will more than make up for the delays caused by implementing the new improvements.
Take this to the logical, ridiculous extreme. You yourself said it:
at this rate humans will be extinct by the time they actually open!
I ask you, what is the purpose of the FEMA camps? It is to exterminate the human race, is it not? So, if we delay opening until such a time as the human race is extinct, the camps will have fulfilled their purpose the very second they open. Instead of many dreary years of shootings, gassings, crematoria, plastic coffins and mass graves, we end up with an absolutely perfect operational record, with complete implementation of the program with no effort at all on our part.
Now, isn't such an outcome worth a few minor delays? Of course it is! And all of us here are on board with this plan!
