View Full Version : Federal Reserve Bank Accounts

While at work the other day a co-worker was spewing some rather idiotic ideas, really the same old Federal Reserve BS, and I had to chime in and tell him that what he was saying was not what the Fed actually does (which is control the world.) I asked him where he has done his research, he wouldn't tell me. All the usual stuff.
He did make a claim I have never heard before. The claim is that at birth a bond is taken out on you and you are "traded" basically on the open market. The other number on the back of back of you Social Security card is your Federal Reserve Bank account Number. I explained that I have never noticed the number but it makes more sense to me that the number probably has something to do with printing the card and making it harder to forge one, since I assume that they are not printed with your name and number on it it would be bad to have blank and untraceable SSN card lying around.
He even claimed that there is a website where you can enter that number and see what your worth has bought. Of course he didn't tell me that website. I a google search but my nonsense filter must have been on. The only thing that I found was comments in a blog post.
So does anyone know anything about this particular form of stupidity? The bank account myth is a new one on me. Thanks

I've never really heard of this myth either until recently when I saw the Obama Deception. Ron Paul's brother was featured being interviewed at one of the End the Fed rallies and moving from the same old conspiracies of how the Fed was created, he asserted to viewers that the United States has been bankrupt since 1929 and the lives of the American people have been the government's collateral to the Federal Reserve for the loans they subsequently put out. There wasn't any evidence proposed in the movie and I've been too lazy to look around for some on my own, but I'm sure any evidence they do have is of typical infowars quality.
The claim of the Social Security Number as your human bank account is kind of self debunking. Before 1986 they weren't issued at birth. Also, I'd strongly advise against putting your SSN on a website and you should inform your friend of the risks of offering personal information to unverified sources.

Adding - I didn't catch that he's referring to the other number on the Social Security card. I don't know what that is, but again for much of the population I'd imagine it wasn't issued at birth.

There was a thread in the Politics section that referred to this recently:

Before 1986 they weren't issued at birth.
They still aren't issued at birth (not automatically- the parent has to request it). It's just that now you can't take the exemption on your income tax for a child unless the child has a SSN, so almost everyone gets an SSN for their child shortly after it's born.
The requirement in 1986 as for children older than 5 (or 5 and older). In the mid-1990's it was changed to include children of any age.

... quite obviously because the Fed requested more collateral.

Hmm.. an internet site that anybody can use to find out how much they are worth on the open market?
Something tells me this could be used in much the same way as the Total Perspective Vortex from Hitchhikers, but we'll be needing a whole lot of fairy cake.

I love self-debunking conspiracy theories like this, but I'm still amazed people can believe them. I think it all goes back that people will believe in anything if it means someone else is responsible for their problems.
Lets think about this - if people were being "sold as collateral on the open market" for the Federal Reserve then at some point someone is going to be ordered to do something by the person that "owns them" - why has this never happened? The CT answer is going to be that you work for your "owner" by taking on debt, but no one forces you to take on any debt. You can go your entire life without taking on debt if you really want to (although it would be stupid to do so, some debt is good).

If you read the thread I linked to earlier, you'll see that some of these guys seem to believe that there is an actual pool of money out there somewhere, that is linked to you personally, that you can use to "move your debt to zero". In thinking about it, I realized this is just the CT version of fantasizing about winning the lottery - all your financial woes gone, with no effort on your part!
At least lotteries actually exist.

Thanks everyone. The link that Horatius put up really helped. For those who care, putting either Roger Elvick or Redemption Movement in the "Googles" will direct you to the origin of this myth.
Basically Roger Elvick is a white supremacist a-hole who used the idea to scam other white supremacist a-holes out of money.

Ah I see, so every unusual event that happens in the world is REALLY because NWO agents showed up on someones doorstep and told them that the bank had called in their collateral and they had to go kill themselves in a suicide airplane mission :) I know when some previously though to be mythical organization shows up at my doorstep I take them completely seriously, particularly when my options are to get killed by said organization or do something for said organization that kills others and myself.
If thats true....
Hello, I'm your United States NWO Director and we're calling in your debt to the Fed. You are hereby ordered to buy me lunch.
And make it snappy. Or else.

Well, since were dealing with a made up organization to begin with, I just got a promotion to European NWO Rep too.
Now you can bring me dinner. Your collateral was called in.
