View Full Version : Cost of 9/11 investigation?

(I accidently posted this in the main conspiracy section, so I'll repost here)

I have been unable to find the true cost of investigating 9/11. I know that the figure which truthers always claim (and compare to clinton investigation) is merely the comission report. But is there anywhere I can find how much everything else costs? Like news articles or government reports annoucing how much was spent in total, or spent by individual organizations (FBI, DOJ, etc).

Thanks.:)

I'm not sure how easy it would be to calculate this. If anyone in government at all would have centralized that information, it would be the Office of Management and Budget (http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/). I guess you could petition them for a summary of such costs.

I'd have done a quick search attempt at that site myself, had the idiot who designed it not borked up the search function !! (Seriously, go to the link, click "Site Search" at the bottom. Does it bring up a dialogue page with fields to fill in like any other sane website? Noooooo, it merely returns an error "You entered an empty keyword. Please enter a keyword to search for" without giving you a chance to enter a search term in anywhere... stupid, stupid, stupid...)

Try it from this page: http://www.whitehouse.gov/404/? :D
(Yes, there is working search box!)

That would be hard to do. Unless all of the agencies (Federal, State and Local) involved broke down their hours specifically spent on investigating the attacks and the cost of employment for those people (not to mention administration costs) you could only estimate the expense at best.

That being said it's obvious to anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together that the investigation had to run into the tens of millions of dollars in the first year on the criminal side alone.

Would the cover-up costs be recorded as "investigation" costs?

Your wisecracks are not as wise as you seem to like to think they are.

They would be recorded as "Costs associated with Truthers who can't get off their backsides and do anything with all the smoking guns they claim they have but who would rather hang out on internet chat rooms and discussion boards talking about all the smoking guns they claim they have but don't do squat about."

I think that would be what the costs would be recorded as.

Its 2009. No closer to a new investigation. No closer to a revolution. This must make you very sad.

Who is part of the coverup?
Nevermind don't answer that because you HAVE ZERO PROOF to back up any of your delusions.

This might be useful in so much it lists the man hours the FBI logged in the first few months, and it also shows other major investigations as a point of comparison.

Perhaps the question should be, what was the cost of the 9/11 conspiracy?

Perhaps one of our truther friends can provide us a line-item budget of some sort (thermite, missile, bribes, employee expenses, overtime and benefits, etc...)

Not to mention pods, lasers, geostationary Laser-disintegration-beam direct energy weapons and associated ground support, development of hologram'ed aircraft, Photoshop experts and their associated expenses, forward-fuel sprayer aircraft attachments, missiles, development/ deployment/training in the use of cloaking/stealth devices, Global Hawk procurement/use, A-3 Skywarrior procurement/use and nano-nuke procurement/use, radar manipulation equipment, voice-morphing equipment and use, spare parts for aircraft crash sites, etc so on and so forth.

Feel free to add to the list.

Well it depends, were the conspiracy planning meetings catered or did the evil-doers brown bag it?
