He had last year's winner, but so did I. The mummymonkey household has picked the following nags with no psychic assistance:

Big Fella Thanks 16/1
Snowy Morning 28/1
Rambling Minister 10/1
Comply or Die 16/1
Butler's Cabin 9/1

Psychic 2 - 1 Mummymonkey

The winner - Mon Mome was 100-1. Would have been a brave psychic that backed that. As always, the bookies win.

Psychic 2 - 1 Mummymonkey.

Why 2-1 rather than 1-1?

One would think that an odds spread was the last thing a psychic needed.

Why 2-1 rather than 1-1?
He had State of Play which was placed fourth.

Out of 40 horses he picked five. The longest odds he had were 20/1.
If he put a pound each way on every horse he picked it would have spent £10. He only gets £4.50 back (I think). I am glad I am not psychic.

I was in Liverpool today. It was like Apocalypse Now with all the helicopters overhead.
