Hi Everyone,

Well, since Mr. Randi doesn't really read the forum a lot, I thought it would be safe to post this here. :)

Last year at TAM1, we presented a present to James Randi on behalf of the forum. I'd like to see if there is any interest in doing this again.

Please post on here if you are interested and would be willing to donate towards the gift. You don't have to be public about the amount. I will then PM you and see about collecting the money.

thanks!
G6

I think the very best present would be a special visit from LFTKBS. You can send me a plane ticket and tickets to the event; just PM me for info.

Psst . . . did it work?

Money's a bit tight for me, I spent a lot on tableware this last year.

I would be happy to chip in for something special for Randi.

Ask Linda what The Bearded One wants. Then, let's see what we can do. :)

(Oh, and ask Linda to keep Randi away from this thread.. :))

Has anyone checked eBay to see if there's anything Uri related up for bid? With the whore that he is, I'm sure there's something we could bid on for Randi.

sure PM me G6. Anything special in mind?

Linda might know what he wants.

Kitten2 bought him a xmas gift with her own money (that's a big deal....).

just butting in for a moment.

While Mr R's work is well worthy of honoring, if you are looking to give a gift to the person most responsible for the TAM, it is Linda. She works on this many hours each day, and is don't 80% of the work, at least.

The Typo League chooses to ignore that "don't", but what about something like a box of live rodents? She seems to like them, and I saw Penn and Teller do that thing from 1984 with the cage full of lab rats on Teller's face.

Hey, G6 if you have a chance, think about my PM to you. The big tour is this weekend....and I can actuallly go to any of those places mentioned in the web site.

Not being pushy, cause if you don't have cool things in your area, then everything I've read about that area is wrong!

Kitty!
