We can safely conclude that out of a total population of 300 million that at most only 2.5 million are truthers. We can conclude this because the ratings for the season premier of rescue me was 2.5 million. You can bet that once word got out that there would be a 9/11 conspiracy subplot truthers everywhere in the country would be posting on their websites and watching and setting their tivo's.

Obviously i know there are fewer truthers than this, but like i said at most there is likely only 2.5 million.

With truthers, one can never tell if they are serious or sarcastic.

You assume to much, Master Jedi.

He's also thinking too hard about this. It looks one heck of a lot like trolling in the opposite direction that we're used to. Just because you know there's a nest of hornets doesn't mean you need to go poking it with a stick. The truthers were undone by their own idiocy and fanatacism. What the OP is doing doesn't help.

That thought just gave me a warm & fuzzy.

Besides, direct confrontation with truthers more often than not involves them going on the defensive and digging into their delusions for protection. We need to bring these people back to the fold of reason and good judgement - not fortify their self-impressions of being enlightened outsiders.

This post is baffling me. What is the fallacy here? :th:

It's assuming that the entire viewing audience of the show are truthers.

Ridiculous reasoning, and completely unfounded.

I never said the entire virewing audience was truthers. i said that many truthers would be watching the show. That is why i said there were probably alot less than 2.5 million. You were putting words in my mouth. :covereyes

The main error of logic IMNSHO is in assuming "truther" is a single "are/are not" situation.

There are varying degrees and the individuals will vary under different times and circumstances.

So there is no clear line "Truther" v "not Truther"
