What's up with these guys? They gave a talk at the local UU Fellowship Saturday, and I gave it a skip because it sounded wooish. Apparently people who attended who previously seemed skeptical are now leaning toward truthism.

I'd be interested in knowing the low-down on these guys if anyone is familiar with the organization.

Lead by Richard Gage, a hopelessly Woo architect from California, I believe. His claim to fame here is his cardboard box demo of the Twin Towers Collapsing. I am sure it is on Youtube.

It comes from this longer video (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3685846057748316809) featuring JREFer Gravy debating Gage. It's hard to explain but the Troofers have this idea that the towers came down in free-fall time, so the idea is that Gage is proving that in fact the lower portion of the tower should have at least slowed down the upper part, but it didn't (untrue).

Its good, but you might want to recheck your data on the 1 Meridian Plaza construction. I do not think it was tube in tube design, but rather a traditional steel in concrete design.

If I'm using the wrong terminology, I apologize. The only thing I thought "tube-in-tube" implied was a core structure and exterior columns, with open floor space in between. The floor space was the main point, I thought.

How much computing power should they have compared to 1963? Totally LAME!
