What confuses me more is why someone from a iceclad clime would bitch about warm weather this time of year?

Hey! Bitching about the weather is a time-honored Chicago past time. Too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry, too much snow, not enough snow. We complain if there's no snow at Christmas, and if there is snow any other time. The temperature swings over 100 degrees F here over the course of a year, it's supposed to drop 30 degrees over the next few hours. Out of a 1/2 hour newscast 10 minutes is weather.

There's about a week every spring and fall when the weather is juuuust right.
