I've been in masonry since 1994 whats the chances of me getting or already having silicosis ?
I have been told that its not cancer but worse and that it can not be treated.

Somewhat less than the chances of being injured by lightning strike, I'd say.

If you're taking heavy exposure to dust, wear a mask. If you're experiencing symptoms, see a doctor. Cheer up; there's probably a good chance you'll be out of a job soon anyway, and your biggest health risk will be from eating too many potato chips while watching the soaps.
