Hi folks

This is my first posting, so be kind.......

You might be amused to learn that Geller has submitted himself for more ridicule here in the UK. A washing powder brand, Surf, has started a campaign where minor celebrities are humiliated in a TV advertisement. The first one showed a character called Lawrence Llewellen Bowen who is a house make-over designer who most normal people loath. He is pictured being dragged through a horse's stable in white clothes. The result is shown on Surf's website http://www.surf.co.uk/site/index2.html

At the end of the ad, they asked for votes on who the next celeb should be and Lo!, there was Geller's ugly mug with 2 other candidates! You have an opportunity to vote via the website, so why not enlist the help of JREF fans to see Geller squirm? If he is chosen, the ad will be available on the Surf website for all to enjoy for generations to come.

If you click on the flashing VOTE NOW section, you can help the cause. The other characters, Keith & Orville and Jordan are similarly derided here. Keith & Orville is a sub-standard ventriloquist act who seems to have been around my entire life! Jordan is a surgically enhanced 'model' who has gained a reputation as a bit of a slapper. Why would Geller do this other than to satisfy his insatiable need for publicity? If he wins (loses?) the vote, I will enjoy every second......
:D

(Edited name from Smith to Bowen. Thx David!)

Lawrence Llewellen-Bowen :)

Jordan is a surgically enhanced 'model' who has gained a reputation as a bit of a slapper.

But to be fair, she is a slapper. They showed a picture of her before surgery on telly the other day and she actually used to be quite foxy.

Anyway, back to the topic. Vote Uri! My colleague and I were having a discussion - she reckons Uri is doing this because he's addicted to being in the public eye. She's probably right, but I hope he's doing it because he's desparate for the cash :D

If he's desperate for cash, don't vote for him!
