I don't know what music that was, but my brain parsed it as The Imperial Death March anyway.

Somehow it reminds me of the Harkonnen in the old game Dune II.

To the mods, maybe this ought to go under Humor, but then, maybe the religion and Humor forums should be merged.

That flash intro is so bloody awful that it's compulsive viewing! :eye-poppi

Not sure what planet they're on, though. I don't think Australia is joined
onto S.America on this Earth.

It's as if they watched the web sites of every ultra-cheesy action game out there and decided to make a parody, only Christian themed:D!

Ah, but did you catch the pitch that follows the light show? ICCM is a tax-exempt religious org that offers to umbrella your (perhaps slightly shady) organization so that you, too, can legally not pay taxes. No org is too great or too small to ignore the need of avoiding an IRS audit. For a slight fee, of course. For the greater glory of god, of course.

Who was that who spoke that old saw about rendering to Caesar? Some non-consequential, to be sure.

From their "Fundamental Truths" (http://www.iccm-1.org/our_fundamental_truths1.htm):

18. The Tithe Is Holy
We believe that the tithe (10% of one’s individual gross earnings) is Holy unto God. We believe that “bringing all the tithes into the storehouse” of the local Church and giving freewill offerings is to be practiced continually by all believers and is an outward expression of the Lordship of Christ in the believer and the unity of the Church, the Body of Christ, as it joins together in support of the work of the Lord (Gen. 14:18-20, 28:20-22, Lev. 27:30-32, Prov. 3:9-10, Mal. 3:6-18, Mt. 23:23, 1 Cor. 16:1-2, Heb. 6:20, 7:1-10).

I'd love to destroy this "congress".

It's difficult to miss, and reinforces my admonition regarding self-control. Try not to hurt the nearest Christian.

They also have a credential mill, and they don't advertize any place of business. About their certification:

LICENSED MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL
This credential is granted to a person who is considered a part–time minister, possibly desiring to be a full–time minister but needs the experience of teaching and performing the sacraments of the Scripture and the recognition of ministerial status among the community at large, as well as, other Christian churches or ministries. Once licensed you are eligible to advance to the ordination level after 1 year. A new application plus additional fees are required.

EIGHT REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSE – (1) Must be at least 18 years of age, (2) Accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, (3) Living a consistent Christian life, (4) Baptized in the Holy Spirit, (5) Be an approved and faithful member to a local church or fellowship, (6) Have a letter of recommendation attesting to the applicant’s Christian character (recommender must have known the applicant for 2 years and provide address and phone number). (7) Copy of your driver's license, (8) completion of Biblical Examination.

Yup, the Dr. Dino School of Tax Exempt status.

Well, they are charity organizations at heart, even if they make a profit, aren't they? The Red Cross, too, has a good deal of money put aside, to my knowledge;).

What a load of crap.

I work for a nonprofit. The viability of our department is based on the revenue we bring in, so their charity extends to their wallets.
