I saw this in the clearance section of my local Walmart:
The 10 plague curses of Passover, including a wee little cube of blood (not real, I presume)!
they also had plague finger puppets, games, etc...

There's something very cutsey and disturbing about that stuff. When I was growing up (in a very fundamentalist OT kosher household, Passover was a time of foreboding, mourning, and atonement for sins, not a time to play with adorable widdle finger puppets!

Perhaps the 'educational' aspects of the Passion Plays have not been lost after all.

Cool !
What little toy can we play with to remind us how our loving God killed all the first-born of Egypt ?
What about the boils ? What little toy teaches us about festering, runny boils ?

Boils, at about the 5 o'clock position, dead first-born at the 10 o'clock position.
Aren't they adorable?!? :D

Yeah, "darkness" is apparently a racial thing. They also messed up on the 4th plague (flies), and have it as "Wild Animals", for some reason: http://www.judaism.com/gif-bk/80370a.gif

All that's missing, is the ' darkness ' holding a slice of watermelon or a banjo ...
