For Christians, fundamentalist or otherwise, or anyone else with odd and whimsical beliefs, I wish it to be known that I will stand by each solitary person, regardless of their belief. I am here to help.

I believe that God is a concept by which we measure our pain
Whimsical? Perhaps
Solitary? No

Of course you do! Now that I've sobered up and stopped listening to old music that inclines me toward weepiness I'm ready to help in whatever way I can. :)

Are you any good with a chainsaw and/or a lawn mower?

I was recently reacquainted with those tools of the devil on pain of having to do my own cooking and laundry if I failed to do so, so yes, I am passably proficient with such things. :(

Thank you M. That's very nice of you.
I'm good for the moment, but the day the Sun doesn't come up I'm going to be in trouble. Look for my PM if it happens.
Cheers.

I prefer Cohen's version, but this isn't bad. I now wish I'd gone to see him when he was here recently. I didn't go because they picked the worst venue (a tennis stadium) for the show.

Don't bother -- I'll be in rapture, or pissed. Undeniably.

For those who might be too young to know, the picture is of an ALBUM cover. This would hold the LP. The LP is what we listened to back in the Stone Age. Think of a very large CD, but made out of polyvinyl chloride.

I was reading in a local entertainment magazine that vinyl is having somewhat of a resurgence. Back in the day it was very cool to buy albums imported from the States; they were generally superior pressings and the sleeves, with their foldouts and often booklets, printed on superior paper and cardboard stock, left the local (Australian) versions in the dust.
