Who the hell thought this (http://smax.shackspace.com/September%2011%20remembered.jpg) was a good idea?
If anyone ever used this mutt to commerate my tragic death, I would rise from the dead and punch his lights out. Then I'd claim my mil from Randi, of course.

I take it that there's already been some 9/11 themed adult movies or at least a set of images (please don't post a link, just PM me with it ;) ) of an unclad lady sayin we will not forget

Can you imagine what newspapers like The San or News of the Screws would say?
"There's a pair of twin towers (sic) that has Americans burning... And it's not the World Trade Centre!!!"

I'm wondering...if one torched that pickup, and simply showed the picture as the entire argument for one's defense...would a jury recognise that that truck needed to be burned? Or would they consider it a moving, patriotic message that I--er, that one--should go to jail for defacing?

I suspect most juries will see the reasonableness of your actions and let you off the hook.
What might be a bigger bone of contention is how you would be treated by a jury when they find out you burnt the truck with the owner strapped in to the driver's seat. I'd say your chances of getting off scot-free on that one are only 50/50.

Ok,...so it's tacky.
It's also a rolling act of freedom of speech, and as such is far less offensive than flag burning, etc....
Let's hope that when you guys head toward this man's property with your lit molotov cocktail, that he proves to be a 6'5" 300 pound ex-Marine....that way you won't have to worry about what will happen to you in court. ;)
I know this is all in fun, but your poke at this poor lover of scooby-doo betrays an elitist bias that is even more unpalatable than the unfortunate scooby painting itself.
There are a large number of "style-challenged" people in the world,...I do not however see any reason why they should be targets of self-righteous vandalism.

I'd really like to hear Scooby try & say 'Osama Bin Ladin' or 'Saddam Hussein'.
Makes my head hurt just thinking about it...
At least it's not the Micky Mouse flipping the finger pic.
