George W Bush (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1030544/posts)
General skepticism, not politics. You don't have to like his politics to think that he's hot.
What do our skeptical ladies say about this?

I think I found a president more to your liking...
(Wow, look at that neat watch he's wearing!)

If we're going to do the "who was the sexiest president" thing, I'm sure we all can agree that it was Chester Arthur. He reformed the civil service, y'know. :p

No, it must be Grover Cleveland, the only U.S. president to admit fathering an illegitimate child.
When the Republican presidential nomination in 1884 went to James G. Blaine, a senator accused of influence peddling, the Democrats sought to highlight the issue of public morality, and Cleveland was again their logical choice. The campaign that followed his nomination was marked by mudslinging, including the revelation that Cleveland had fathered an illegitimate child and further exposures of Blaine's shady bond deals as a congressman. In a close contest, Cleveland won by a plurality rather than a majority of the popular vote.

Tom Jones...for longevity. He has held that honor, with many women worldwide, for about 4 decades.

My mother is totally in love with Bush. She even said "Luciana, this is the kind of guy you should marry: cute and President of the United States. Ok, he's not very smart, but then..."
Really, she said that!!! Whenever he's on TV, it doesn't matter if she has seen the image hundreds of time, she will leave the remote control to rest and keep watching him, sighing while at it. And whenever he says "god" or "blessed" she just rolls her eyes and goes "shut up, hon, you're so cute, but just shut up..."
If someones starts bashing him, she will always come to his defense. She goes "aww, but did you see him in that Army uniform?". It's hard to hold an objective conversation with her in this regard. :)

According to her, he has aged considerably after 9/11, but is still very handsome. If I want to really irritate her, I'll say "look, I think his lips are disappearing" and she will go "no they're not" and get upset for the next minutes.
She was very disappointed when she found out he was an alcoholic. She finally conceded "yeah, I don't think you should marry him".

Not to derail the thread, but...

What does that mean?? Did he pull a Dubya?

The last time a president got a clear majority of the popular vote, it was Ronald Reagan's second term.
You can call our system flaky if you like, but Dubya didn't cheat despite what some folks say.

So, I think what you're trying to say, Abdul Alhazred, is "No, Bush didn't get a majority. And, no, he didn't even get a plurality either."
As for sexy? Well, he has nice hair and wears clothes well. (But, imo, that's just,,,not...quite...enough! :) ).

But he was elected constitutionally. That's the point, and that's why Al Gore conceded peacefully.
The only democratically elected federal office is member of congress.
The Electoral College system is explicitly designed to give smaller states disproportionate weight.

Well he's better looking than me, but I still don't get it about how some women drool over him (as at the link I posted). Thus "General Skepticism".

But it makes you wonder who would be in the Oval office if Gore had had a brother running the Miami count.
Many women I speak to rank Sean Connery pretty highly when it comes to sexiest man alive. I'd like to say that they also say 'present company excepted, of course.'. But somehow I don't think I'd get away with that one on a sceptics board.

Oh, not fair, tracer! He may or may not have taken cocaine...like anyone else, we have no way of knowing (and he certainly can't be unjustly accused of it!)
The alcohol problem is public knowledge, though. (Luckily for Luciana. :) ).

I didn't tell her about this piece of gossip. She doesn't know English, which helps to keep the myth alive. :D

Volant, I for some reason never found Clint Eastwood attractive. He has no cuteness factor. There has to be cuteness, and politicians just ain't keeeyute at all. I also don't find Sean Connery attractive. I find RL men more attractive than movie stars any day. Some movie stars are okay. That young Ben Kenobi in the pre-quels is a hottie, but not the Anniken (sp?)

Having hung out with Mr. Randi for a day when he was visiting my college campus, i can say definitively that he is very charming and cute.

That was one of the best days of my teaching career, and one of my favorite classes.

Most Attractive President (though before my time :( )....FDR.
A friend of mine met GWB's father when he was VP and said he was very handsome...taller than Reagan and much better looking than Reagan in person.
