View Full Version : Clever US Media Showing Fires Daily

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but for about the last three weeks or so the US cable media has been showing fires as breaking news, even small ones. First you had the Kentucky factory explosion, then another factory, then a burning building in LA, then the club in Rhode Island and then the barge fuel explosion fire.
What is interesting about the leftist media gravitating to these incidents and then publishing them "on air" is that they sort of remind populations about war--burning building, huge sinister-looking clouds from explosions, people burning to death inside of them, ect...with a cute sexy chick commentator who keeps repeating the body count over and over, hoping it gets higher by the hour so they have an excuse to keep showing the burning images.
Sounds like a war-prep for the general population to me. Is the media prepping us for extensive explosions in Iraq?

It is actually quite brilliant, no matter who is responsible for it. Expose the mass populations of the United States, and the world for that matter, with pre-explosions, fires and destruction images to prep them for Iraq or other battlefields.

Hey, JK! You must be getting old! Only 20% of the top 25 threads have been started by you. Why don't start 10 different threads with the words "atheist" and "Nazi" in the titles? Oh, that's right - you've done that before... Well, that shouldn't stop you from doing it again.
Edited to remove foul language.

No. They are just "selling newspapers." Blood and gore is always front-page news. Sanitized, of course.

Only Jedi Knight could read something like this into news stories. Could it be that the cable news organizations are reporting a lot of fires because there have been a lot of fires?

I think the only war connection is that these are the biggest stories not related to the upcoming war. You can only do so many stories about a war that hasn't started yet. And a fire that kills more than a few people generally makes the news anyway. It just seems odd now because so much of the news is about the war that hasn't even started yet.
