(This is a paraphrasing of an e-mail I received from a bunch who call themselves "The Investigators" (http://www.astroinvestigators.com/). It is paraphrased as accurately as possible to maintain the spirit of the message, yet not violate board rules against reprinting of electronic communications.)

We're The Investigators. Come to our website www.astroinvestigators.com to learn more about us. Our research projects are exciting, and we're looking for community involvement to assist in data collection for research. There are even 'rewards' on our website to thank you for spending your time in assisting us. Two of our projects being researched are:

Left Handed Research Data -- we need birth data for left handed people. The data should be as accurate as possible, including birth time, and at least 1000 peoples' data is needed. The project is for statistical astrological research.

Marriage Research Data -- 'marriage' being defined for our purposes as official and legally recognized, with commitment vows given between two people in front of witnesses. It doesn't matter how long the marriage went on. We're comparing the date of the marriage to the birth charts of the individuals involved. Synastry is not involved. We do not need the exact time of when vows were traded (just date/place), but we do need exact time of birth for one of those involved. Exact times for both would be better. There is a form on our website to enter this information. If you don't have it, just enter a question mark in those boxes.

You can enter the data for the above two projects at our website www.astroinvestigators.com. Click on the 'share data' button, then select 'left handed' or 'marriage' research. Data can also be submitted via e-mail.

Beggin' yer pardon for the somewhat stilted language, but rewording interrupts the flow, even if it's a river of cr*p that's flowing.

Anyone wanna get in on this nonsense? It's the real deal - just check their website out.

I can't do it, as I'm a righty, and have never been married. If you do go for it, keep us posted as to what this is all about, willya?
