Expelled gets a special subtitle track

Stumbled across this thread (http://www.bogosity.tv/forum/index.php?topic=27.0), and I didn't find a reference to it in these forums. Looks like someone made a subtitle track for Expelled that addressed the misinformation presented in the movie.

Now if only there were little robot silhouettes as well...

It would certainly make for an interesting episode of MST3K: I'd be fun and educational!

(I wish the riffs for First Spaceship on Venus would have remarked on its glaring scientific inaccuracies. I probably would have learned something, instead of writhing in agony over the movie's sheer stupidity!)

I just watched the first 20 minutes of Expelled with the Lie Correcting Subtitles running. It's amazing how barely ten seconds at a time ever goes by without the subtitles pointing out an error, deliberate omission, or outright lie.

It's hard for me to watch much more than I did because the movie is so boring, but if you've seen it already and found it interesting, I highly recommend that you download the subtitles file and watch it again with the subtitles running.

They saved Manos. I haven't seen Expelled but if they can save Manos then they certainly can save Expelled.

They saved Manos. I think that's an exaggeration.

They managed to render Manos slightly less suicidally loathsome, to certain demographics of viewers, than it normally tends to be.

That is still a tremendous, respectable feat, no doubt. But, I would hardly call it "saved".
