I think the FARK headline sums it up quite nicely:
Internationally known psychic bilked of $200k by her bookkeeper. If only there were some way she could have seen that coming...

I'm torn here. I don't advocate criminal activity generally, but I can't feel bad when a fraud gets swindled.

Here in Atlanta Ga there was a woman named Madam Bell who was a crystal gazer and tarot reader and she had been in this city since I was a smalll boy. I'm 62. A few years ago she was at a hotel and she fell into a fountain and drowned. Maybe she should have consulted the stars befre she went to the hotel. I have to say this though. I miss the old gal. She was quite a character.

Huh. Surprised I never heard of her. I lived in Atlanta for about fifteen years. I'd wager she was located somewhere around Cheshire Bridge Road.

She was. I remember her post-midnight TV commercials--she was headquartered on Cheshire Bridge Road. You'd see little posters and fliers too--an open hand with an eye in the palm, if I recall correctly. I think her real name was Marx or Marks; I remember seeing an item on the TV when she drowned in a fountain near a Buckhead hotel (Ritz-Carlton?) in the late 90's.
