Rosemary Altea had money stolen from her accounts since 2001. Could a psychic predict something like that or at least predict her employee embezzling money then going to jail? Maybe Altea needed a literary agent to help her with that too (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLQVAx5svtk).

Here's the article:

The former bookkeeper of an internationally known psychic from Dorset has agreed to plead guilty in court to federal felony charges levied against her by prosecutors who say she executed a scheme to swindle roughly $200,000.

Denise Hall of East Arlington faces one count of wire fraud and one count of filing a false tax return after investigators with the U.S. Attorney's office say she stole money from self-proclaimed spiritual medium Rosemary Altea — using four credit cards to obtain cash advances, forging checks and giving herself unauthorized electronic paychecks all under Altea's name for the past seven years, according to court records.

She faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine up to $250,000 for wire fraud and a maximum three years in prison and an additional $250,000 fine for filing the false tax information.
...
Prosecutors claim Hall is responsible for embezzling and diverting between $120,000 and $200,000 from Altea between early 2001 and the middle of 2008, according to federal prosecutors.
...
In 2003, Altea, a British-born spiritual teacher and author, won a court battle for the rights to a 580-acre property in Ira, valued at $720,000 at the time, after one of her longtime students left it to her in her will, claiming she wanted it to be used for a spiritual center.

BURLINGTON – An East Arlington woman pleaded guilty Monday to federal charges she defrauded a psychic out of as much as $200,000.

Denise M. Hall, 51, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Burlington before Chief Judge William K. Sessions III to charges of wire fraud and filing a false tax return, which all stem from her embezzlement of money from self-proclaimed "spiritual medium" Rosemary Altea.
...
According to records filed in federal court, from 2001 until 2008, Hall worked as Altea's bookkeeper. During that time, records stated, Hall used four different credit cards issued to Altea and drew cash advances and used convenience checks, all without Altea's knowledge.

Hall also created a bank account in Altea's name and transferred money from one of Altea's accounts to the new account and used those funds to pay for the unauthorized credit card bills, affidavits state.
...
The wire fraud charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison while the tax fraud charge carries a three-year penalty.

No way. A con artist being conned.

Stealing should never be condoned, no matter who it is from, but that is just...delicious.

Clearly her psychic abilities only work when someone feeds her information to then give back to people, but that isn't psychic.
