Old enough to walk, old enough to talk but only just.
Drums. Little kids love drums. I know I did.
If drums are too expensive, whistles and kazoos are good too.
Silly putty. Roll it into a ball and it bounces. Pull it hard and it breaks. Press it onto a funny and it will pick it up (impressions from newsprint). It stretches. It can be chewed. Kids love it!
It's impossible to get out of the rug!
