There appear to be some major problems with a flash player for this platform.

And the same problems for a java interpreter.

1. The platform is not really fast enough.
2. The platform does not do its own memory garbage collection.
3. Any flash or java app would compete with the iTunes Store.

#3 may be insoluble.

Sorry, I am not familiar with it.

An ipod touch. That is the technical name, I guess, sorry.

I was starting to think these things as I read around last night, I had read about the size and conversion issues. It seems that there may have to be new data streams that are already converted for this very cool technology.

I remember adding machines and when handheld calculators first came out.

Thanks.
