I have listened to this guy talk for a few hours and he is VERY interesting, totally a scientist and rational thinker. He honestly believes people should treat one another, along with the environment,with respect. All of his ideas revolve around a "resource" based economy, not one centered around money.

If you haven't spent your lifetime researching something but leave your opinions on important topics to the experts without doing any investigation for yourself, then you are left to simply study what history's actors do.

The path to attempt to overcome these issues is to STOP LETTING BIG GOVERNMENT AND BIG BUSINESS REGULATE YOUR LIVES. Just say "NO! I WILL NOT COMPLY!" and say it loudly and often in big groups. Get back to local community decision making so that any decisions made can always be relied upon to reflect the wishes and needs of local communities, not big corporate interests. And make sure you don't set too much in stone, that's just locking the next generation into solutions to past problems that no longer meet the needs of evolving communities.
