Thanks for all your help with the video converting (I downloaded the programme folk suggested).
Unfortunately, a potential employer can't open my CV and asks if I can resend it with 'word 97 or XP'. Now, I use Microsoft 2007, and I'm guessing it is the .docx file that cannot be converted by this person. Do they need .doc?
I have the file on a yousendit link. Could someone be so kind to agree to convert it to word 97 or XP?
Fast reply would be really appreciated.

Now I don't have Microsoft 2007, but it'd surprise me if you can't go to the File menu, choose Save as... and pick Word97/XP as the format to save.

Thanks for your help. That worked.
It suprises me to have a good computer with good software for a change!
Will she be able to open a .doc file if she wants a 97 or XP setting (It said: Save in Word 97-03 Document setting)?

Yup. The file format didn't change for 97, 2000, XP, and 2003.

They could also install the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=941B3470-3AE9-4AEE-8F43-C6BB74CD1466&displaylang=en) which would give them access to Office 2007 created files such as those with a .docx extension.

Yup. The file format didn't change much for 97, 2000, XP, and 2003.
Fixed it for you.
No, they were no major changes like the one going from .doc to .docx. But unfortunately, with all the various version of the Office package, Microsoft couldn't help themselves tweaking minor thing here and there. One thing that drives me nuts is the handling of embedded graphics, in particular with Microsoft own graphics formats like wmf or emf, generated by Microsoft Excel, that another installation of Microsoft Office that happens to be the one of our team members cannot read properly.
