Did Dylan offer you some money to get the heat off his ass, enigma?
Just asking qwestions dude....:)
All you seem to do these days is try to deflect any criticism of him and his cronies, while berating those who have just discovered what a moneymaking piece of filth he actually is.
If you dont like the fact that Dylan and his ilk are regularly shown to be the profiteering scum that they are, then dont bother reading this forum.
Simple, no?

This is my first post in probably over a year, but I do lurk about once every 2-3 weeks. Since you brought up facebook, and that particular group...

...it has a whopping 28 members!

The group 9/11 Truth Movement (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6232459083#/group.php?gid=2204686781&ref=ts) has over 28,000 members!

And of those 28,000+ members, I would imagine probably that no more than a few dozen, perhaps 100 people at max, joined the group to oppose the movement.

The tide can't be stopped!

That's the biggest anti-truth group I've found too. 1300 members, versus almost 29,000 for "9/11 Truth Movement." And the TM group grows by about 1,000 every 10 days or so. A few months back, when I joined FB, it was at 23,000.

As usual this group disguises its true meanings with language like,
"* the families' questions that were never answered by the 9/11 commission
* what domestic officials and foreign officials knew before and on September 11th, 2001."
Funny I wonder how many members that group would have if you stated in the summary that the government planted explosives in the towers or there were no planes on 9-11 but holographic images were used.
You see kameelyun you are pushing snake oil and my guess is a large portion of those 28k may not even know what they got into.
Also how many of those 28k actually are true, "truthers".
Nice try but you failed.

As for the Support the Troops groups... so there are more blind nationalists in America than there are critical thinkers.

Then why is the "Stop Barack Obama" group even larger than the 9/11 Truth Movement group?

You give yourself far too much credit. Big surprise. We're quite capable of understanding numbers. Pointing out that the 9/11 Truth Movement isn't really that big, either, is hardly "squirming". It's more like trying to give you a little perspective, which you sorely lack. I didn't see anyone claiming that those "debunker groups" were large movements incapable of being stopped.

ETA: Another anti-Obama group that's larger than the 9/11 Truth Movement: One Million Americans Against Barack Obama in 36 Days (Official Group) (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=82685630231) (78,993 members)

The largest fb group to do with 9/11 at all (http://www.facebook.com/comparethemeerkat?ref=nf#/group.php?gid=2208411966&ref=ts) is only 40,000 members (Never Forget - Gawd Bleyuss Amurka). The tide is low for 9/11 interest right now, but wait til the 10th anniversary. It will blow away the 5th and the FB 911TM group will burgeon.

Comparisons with non-911-related groups are meaningless.

Here's the perspective: However insignificant you claim the truth movement to be, the so-called "debunker" movement (though I prefer the term "anti-truther", which is what most of you are, esp. the ones with say 15K posts in 2 years... how much do you prolific ones get paid?) is thousands of times less significant.

Throughout the thousands of DVD's I've given out on the streets, no one has ever barked back at me "Visit the JREF forum! It debunks all your nonsense!" Only 1 person cited Popular Mechanics, and when he did so, I gave him a free copy of Debunking 911 Debunking.

You claim that the TM is dead. Yet there are those dedicated anti-truthers on this forum who post on here day in, day out, trying to ridicule and attack any and all things 9/11 truth. The desperation of the anti-truthers is palpable. Every anniversary someone posts a new thread stating how as long as the movement exists and shows up at GZ, there will be the debunker community to oppose us.

So, is the movement dead, or not? Make up your debunker minds people! :D

Dead as in the sense of getting nothing and will never get anything done, YES, has been that way for almost 8 years. Dead on this forum, NO because some of the more rational posters (and I use that term loosely) keep dredging you people up (somebody is gonna call me a racist now) unnecessarily. Anyway the group you brought up shows a very interesting fact about the TM. Your group certainly outnumbers the "debunker" group by 1000 to 1 yet your impotent brethren has accomplished what with it's overwhelming paper tiger majority? However much like the Myspace 9/11 truth group I was a member of back in the days of my wild and carefree (read as stupid) youth had over 28000 members and made a huge deal about it. They actually had a moderator who checked logs of the active members and found it to be a core of barely 28 posters. What had happened is people either thought it was "cute" to register for the group or there were members who had 100 socks. Chances are it is the same in your Facebook group but if you prefer to delude yourself I will not stop you.

ETA - Not to mention the 25000 or so "rational" posters who registered only for the sole purpose of calling the group morons and the few hundred or so that registered just to spam. You do realize that banned members were still counted don't you?

Cl1mh4224rd
3rd July 2009, 06:40 PM
Here's the perspective: However insignificant you claim the truth movement to be, the so-called "debunker" movement [...] is thousands of times less significant.

You're mistaking numbers with significance. This isn't a popularity contest, you know that, right?

Five-hundred-thousand people can believe that the sky is pink, and only twenty-thousand may actively oppose that notion. That doesn't make the Pink Sky Believers "significant".

That so few of "us" are needed to counter your movement's insanity is a great thing. It certainly doesn't reflect well on your group.

Throughout the thousands of DVD's I've given out on the streets, no one has ever barked back at me "Visit the JREF forum! It debunks all your nonsense!"

Not surprising. Very, very few people are actually aware of the existence of this forum. But, more likely, it's because they treat you the same way they treat any fringe religious group handing out material on a street corner. They take what they're given and get the hell out of there. Most people don't like to get into a confrontation with people they think are crazy, especially when they know they only have to suffer a few seconds of their insanity before it's all over.

Only 1 person cited Popular Mechanics, and when he did so, I gave him a free copy of Debunking 911 Debunking.

And what did he do with it?

You claim that the TM is dead.

No, I don't. Please try harder to refrain from engaging in fantasy.

Yet there are those dedicated anti-truthers on this forum who post on here day in, day out, trying to ridicule and attack any and all things 9/11 truth. The desperation of the anti-truthers is palpable.

You call posting on an single Internet forum... desperation? You really do lack perspective.

Stay in Iraq Until the Job is Done (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2207515106) (61,437 members) <-- War on Terror
Support For Troops in Iraq (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=13468216595) (378,784 members) <-- War on Terror
100 Million Facebook members for Democracy in Iran (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=105160039272) (200,189 members) <-- Islamic Extremism

Also, adding to what Cl1mh4224rd found:

Support Canadian Troops in Afghanistan (http://www.facebook.com/board.php?uid=2211830485#/group.php?gid=2262960917) 76,960 members <-- War on Terror
I Support Israel in the War Against Terrorism (http://www.facebook.com/board.php?uid=2211830485#/group.php?gid=2208363470) 69,588 members <-- War on Terror... in fact... the Israel group is the extreme polar opposite of the "9/11-was-a-jew-job" movement.

So tell me, why did you lie about these groups not being 9/11 related when we could all see that they were just from the titles?

Too bad about letting the perpetrators of the biggest mass murder in US history get away with their crimes and get stinking filthy rich though.
