View Full Version : I need a title to my 9/11 conspiracy book

Luntoc
7th July 2009, 09:50 AM
Ok guys I've been working on my book about the 9/11 conspiracy theories and for about 5 months now and I still haven't come up with a name for it. Anyone got any names I could title my book. I've asked several friends here at home and nothing so far. The only I've ever considered any consideration is "9/11:Why the conspiracy theories are just that, theories" That is the best I've been able to come up with and I really don't like it. So if anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

i hate using the term "theory" when it comes to the "truth?" movement

a theory to me implies an educated guess (hence why NIST's report is a theory basted on a lot of facts)

the TM's ideas are anything but educated in my book ;)

It should be out by November at the latest.

These seem rather dry and academic. Since the phenom is world-wide, the title shouldn't contain the word "america" imho.

This would be great, but too bad already used: www.amazon.com/gp/product/0465092756 "Not Even Wrong"

If you're not familiar with the phrase, it comes from a quote by Wolfgang Pauli about a science paper which was apparently quite bad, and about which he supposedly said "That's not right. It's not even wrong." www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Not_even_wrong

The phrase is one that suits 9/11 ct's perfectly.

What is the point of this book?

What could you possibly say in terms of debunking that would be anything new?

I could write the ultimate debunking book myself.....

It would consist of 2 chapters...

Chapter one:
several links to various debunking websites, a link to the NIST reports, links to other papers on the collapse like Bazant etc, links to the hardfire debates, and probably a few links to some forums including this one....

Chapter two:
quotes from truthers with photos

Chapter three:
evidence for an inside job

And thats it.....that would be the whole book in 2 chapters.

Including the title page, table of contents, and index I figure it would be like 10 pages max.....

Since you are not even done with your 'book'...and your MS had not even been submitted, proven by the fact that you have stated you have not even chosen a publisher..or, more importantly, one has not chosen you... You have ZERO percent chance of getting this work in circulation by November 2009

They don't even qualify as theories:

Theory
Most people use the word theory to mean uncertainty, guesswork, or a rough idea, but in science it has a different meaning. A scientific theory explains facts or phenomena that have been shown to be true by repeated independent tests and experiments. An educated guess in science is called a hypothesis.

Scientific theories are not laws, which describe phenomena thought to be invariable. Theories are generally used to describe why certain laws work. For example, the law of gravity is known to be true for falling bodies, but how and why it works is explained by Albert Einstein's general theory of relativity. Einstein's theory was accepted as true only after repeated experimentation and observation. Yet not even laws are absolute. They are rarely overturned, but they may be amended should new data warrant it."

Define a shill please...

In my book a 'Shill' in the context of 9/11 debunking is an agent of the government placed on forums to fight the government side . But there is a second and much more numerous kind of unpaid citizen Shill that I call a ''Sap'. These are in my opinion people who cannot bear he thought that the American governemt did this to it's own people and will do anything to avoid believing it. Cognitive dissonance is the moral coward's friend. A sub-category of 'Saps' are the truly stupid.

So I suppose he title should have read

'silence of the Shills 'n Saps '

This is from Mike Rivero.

"Most people prefer to believe their leaders are just and fair even in the face of evidence to the contrary, because once a citizen acknowledges that the government under which they live is lying and corrupt, the citizen has to choose what he or she will do about it. To take action in the face of a corrupt government entails risks of harm to life and loved ones. To choose to do nothing is to surrender one's self-image of standing for principles. Most people do not have the courage to face that choice. Hence, most propaganda is not designed to fool the critical thinker but only to give moral cowards an excuse not to think at all."

In my book a 'Shill' in the context of 9/11 debunking is an agent of the government placed on forums to fight the government side .

First of all.....there are no government agents that are assigned to debunk truthers...

Also....what exactly is an "agent of the government"?

Which Intel agency does he/she work for?
Do you even know what the various Intel agencies actually do (there are 17 of them)?

But there is a second and much more numerous kind of unpaid citizen Shill that I call a ''Sap'. These are in my opinion people who cannot bear he thought that the American governemt did this to it's own people and will do anything to avoid believing it. Cognitive dissonance is the moral coward's friend. A sub-category of 'Saps' are the truly stupid.

Let me explain something to you...

People who work in the government or for government contractors....especially those involved in DoD work (like military or intelligence) are well aware that our government has corruption in it.

But those people also know much better than you what the government is and is not capable of actually pulling off.....and unlike you they live in the freaking real world instead of the fairy tale land that you hail from.

Those people get up and go to work every day and do their jobs trying to keep our country safe from those who would harm us. These are ordinary people doing an extraordinary job....they have families, hopes for the future, kids in school, mortage and car payments, etc.

The way you truthers talk about them...as if they are part of some massive conspiracy to cover up the killing of thousands of civilians....you have no idea what the hell you are talking about cause you are some damn arm chair quarterback throwing insults around accusing people you don't know of murder.

You know nothing about these issues so why don't you climb down from that mountain of stupid you have climbed and just shut the hell up?

There is a 3rd type bill. I will call them "sensible normal people". These are people who ****ing hate to see stupid turd morons promote falsehoods and make unfounded, evidenceless accusations of murder, and do so unabated because of the freedom the internet gives them. These people (the normal ones) do not need to get paid, because they derive their satisfaction from revealing to onlookers, the snake oil salesman for what he is...an abhorrent, deserving of scorn, charlatan.

First of all.....there are no government agents that are assigned to debunk truthers...

Also....what exactly is an "agent of the government"?

Which Intel agency does he/she work for?
Do you even know what the various Intel agencies actually do (there are 17 of them)?

Let me explain something to you...

People who work in the government or for government contractors....especially those involved in DoD work (like military or intelligence) are well aware that our government has corruption in it.

But those people also know much better than you what the government is and is not capable of actually pulling off.....and unlike you they live in the freaking real world instead of the fairy tale land that you hail from.

The way you talk a person would think that we did not know for 100% certain sure that the governmment has programs for engaging bloggers on social media sites just like this one. Given that this site may be one of the more important forums for 9/11 discussions here is no reason at all for us not to believe tht a large percentage of the debunkers we encounter are paid agents of the government.

I think that you're a paid agent of the government. Your job, of course, is to make twoofers like like morons, and I must say you do an excellent job. I mean, there is no way that you actually believe the stuff that you say. Right?

Ok guys I've been working on my book about the 9/11 conspiracy theories and for about 5 months now and I still haven't come up with a name for it. Anyone got any names I could title my book. I've asked several friends here at home and nothing so far. The only I've ever considered any consideration is "9/11:Why the conspiracy theories are just that, theories" That is the best I've been able to come up with and I really don't like it. So if anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

hmmmmm....?

Let me try.

Duh duh dubunking for duh duh duh dummies

Burn this book

The art of bowing to authority

I can't support my theory so please give me something else to debunk

Wait... this is a comic book right?

'Debunking for Dummies'....It just rolls off the tongue.

So JREF members making fun of people like Craig and Aldo is what is holding the "truth movement" back from obtaining a new investigation, getting at "the truth"?

I guess everytime someone makes a silly Photoshop pic of the CIT guys Bush and Cheney are one step farther away from being arrested for treason.

First of all...

You never answered my question. So what's your answer?

And secondly....

What the hell would you know about government "agents" anyway?

You know nothing....they aren't even called "agents" or "spies" in real life anyway...that's Hollywood crap. Stop talking about stuff you know nothing about.

True as it may apparently be, using an adjective like "unpopular" in your title is not objective, especially considering how two suggestions from posters here resulted in a complete about-haste in the term being used.

It should be out by November at the latest.

Yes. And please buy so I can make the big bucks.:D
