Once upon a time John Lennon got in trouble for making a statement about religion. Which one do you think will go (end) first, religion (Christianity) or Rock and Roll?
"The catalyst for this change occurred on 4 March 1966, when Lennon was interviewed for the London Evening Standard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evening_Standard) by Maureen Cleave (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maureen_Cleave), and talked about Christianity (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity) by saying: "Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I do not know what will go first, rock 'n' roll or Christianity...We're more popular than Jesus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus) now". (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Lennon#cite_note-LennonIKnew-70)Five months later, an American teen magazine called Datebook reprinted part of the quote on its front cover.
