According to Church Executive (http://www.churchexecutive.com/2003/01/The_50_most_influential_Christians_in_America.asp) . The top 4 are:
1. George W. Bush
2. John Ashcroft
3. Tim Lahaye
4. Jerry Jenkins
5. Sandra Day O'Connor
That O'Connor made the list surprises me considering her opinion on abortion.

I think the most influential Christian would be the one who got you to put 5 people into a top 4 list.

Geez, I wonder if all of 'em are leaders of the vast right-wing conspiracy. Or for most, are they even members in good standing?
Do any of you know where one would apply for membership?

Interesting that her colleague Scalia doesn't make the list. It may be a sectarian thing; Wilton Gregory (#6) is the only non-Protestant I noticed in the ranking.

The most influential. This is your number 13:
"[13] Kurt Warner, NFL Football Player
His public faith is tested when team losses and injuries mount. He takes some hits from the secular media, but he is a great role model in professional sports."
Jesus must've decided that Kurt was outshining him, so he put him on the sidelines this year.
Just once I'd like to see a player score a touchdown, then point to the ground, then make his index fingers into horns on his head, and then dance around making reference to Satan.

Kitsch artist Thomas Kinkaid (23) is more influential than Pat Robertson (43)?

Yeah. The 50 most influential Christians do seem to get pretty obscure pretty quickly.
[29] C. Truett Cathy, Founder, Chick-Fil-A
?!?!? What effect has his influence of not making teenagers work on Sunday had? And he's been more influential than Pat Robertson?
Had to round out the list, I guess.
