Wow, a whole new bunch of kids for him to abuse.
If his motion is not thrown out of court at the earliest possible moment, what little faith I have left in the California Judical system will vanish.
But, frankly, for the guy to think he has a chance in hell with what we know about his treatement of Michael and his siblings means the child abuser has totally lost touch with reality.

The custody battle will be won by whichever side can afford to spend the most money.
I don't know who has what kind of assets. Michael's estate might be bupkis. Maybe nada left for the kids, so no $$$$ to fight over the control thereof. The Mom's portfilio is what, only what Michael paid her for motherhood-on-demand. Besides, she doesn't want them. Does Papa Joe have any riches from the earlier Jackson Five income? Or did all that go the the Five? Do any of the remaining Five give a rat's patootie about any of their freaky brother's toys?
I could see the kids becoming wards of the court. Joe can't have them, nobody else wants them.

As screwed up as Michael was, and as un-nice as Joe often appears, there's no clear evidence Joe abused him or the other Jackson kids. Just personal claims. Still it's true Michael seemed to fit the profile of someone who was abused in childhood.
The mother said recently she's going to fight for custody of her kids. Generally the court favors the biomom over grandparents.
