I think the most important idea expressed in this article is that conspiracy theorists want everyone to have an "open mind"..
...yet the conspiracy theorists themselves refuse to acknowledge any and all of the evidence that contradicts their ironclad beliefs.
if they say the moon landing was a hoax...then all evidence to the contrary MUST be a lie or faulty..or simply undeserving of their attention.
if they say 9-11 was done by the U.S. government..then all evidence to the contrary MUST be a lie or faulty...or simply undeserving of their time and energy.
and worse now...is that anyone who counters their arguments..is working for the enemy..and deserving of punishment or death.
