Hello.
I have just changed to a new host ( http://iweb.com/ ) and found out that the only way I can connect to my mysql database is through php on their server or with phpmyadmin. The only connection to mysql is throught their local network. For security reason they say.
With my previous host I could connect to mysql with front end like mysqlfront or navicat with no problem, but now it is impossible.
My program is written in Matlab and uses ODBC connection but it is not accepted by their server. Is their any way to resolve my problem ? Some software that could translate my Matlab request to php if that makes any sense ??
Should I change host to have a direct connection to mysql. Can you provide suggestion to host who accept direct connection to mysql ?
Thanks
