No I'm pretty sure not taking a stand on an issue and making a defensible point is pretty much the standard around here. :D Its a legit strategy for debate, but it doesn't mean your(whoevers) political/economic preference is right.
That was a funny video btw.

Yeah, when the position is pointed out (repeatedly) to have no basis in fact, yet PR keeps up defending it, in every thread... One is permitted to wonder.

While not attempting an argumentum ad populum, do you consider that if most people don't agree with your conclusions then perhaps you should more carefully reexamine them for potential flaws that you haven't seen?

The first thing to do is never to split infinitives. That helps never to be wrong.
