I have noticed on the skeptic websites that there are never any forums for the category of psychology. I'm wondering what's up with this? I know that are quick to point out cognitive biases against CTer, woo, etc. It would seem like a logical thing to have a psych forum to compare notes, learn more things to gain insight and understanding about humans in general, including themselves as a sort of checks and balance exercise.

So what's up with that? How come there aren't any and what would it take to start one on this site.

I believe they would fit in the Science, Mathematics, Medicine, and Technology threads. I'm all for discussions in this area so there is an interest.

My degree's in cognitive psych. I would link you to materials, but actually wiki does a pretty good job listing / describing most of them. Look for the thread here on "red car syndrome" as an example where many are being discussed.
