View Full Version : Conspiracy Rehab 2: ''Welcome to the Dark Side''

Our story begins on a cold, grey February afternoon in 2008. Having just finished school, I walked with my heavy bag from school to the quay where the local library is.
I decided to look at the history section on this fateful day, and tilting my head I saw a thick yellow book. I took it out and looked at it. ''Alice and Wonderland and the World Trade Center Disaster'' by someone named 'David Ickee'.
Not much info there; I read the back... ''why the official story of 9/11 is a monumental lie''...
BAM! I have been addicted to conspiracies ever since. Distributing leaflets, making videos, doing graffiti, hosting my own radio show. ALL of this stuff and so much more for a year and a half now, and I'm still only seventeen.
I've got almost four thousand posts on the avid Icke forum, and my grades have gone way down since I got involved in conspiracy theories.
But now, I think it might be time to make a fresh start? I've joined here in a bid to broaden my horizons and discover the TRUTH.
You might be able to help me, and I've already gotten a lot of support from joe911, a member here. For example, he gave me a link to the Loose Change viewer guide. However, I still need good pages on aspartame, Israel, vaccines and so on.
I have wanted to be a doctor for a long time now, but it seems being a doctor is taboo amongst conspiracy theorists.

I'll stop here for now.

Welcome to the forum!

Regarding aspartame and vaccines, I would suggest heading over to the Science, Mathematics, Medicine and Technology sub-forum, as I know aspartame has been discussed in the past, and there are several threads going on vaccines at any given time. Politics is the loudest place for discussions on Israel, I doubt there are any "best" pages here, but people may have recommendations.

But first and foremost, formulate a specific question, use the search tools here (the Google link in the Search menu at the top of the screen is your best bet), and if you cannot find an answer, start a thread on that question. Read the responses and try to deal with those appropriately before asking another question. Asking 14 or 1400 questions in a single OP is likely to earn you some flak.

Last but certainly not least, there are sticky threads at the top of most of the sub-forums that tend to deal with link libraries, frequently asked questions, and the like. Browse through those for many great resources.

Thanks, hokulele.
Will have a closer look around the site now. I have actually only really been on the CT section. :o Will explore more today. :)
Also, how do I change my avatar?

Hey welcome! If you're sincere as you seem you can learn a lot, challenge yourself and grow. No one bites someone for just asking a question that's already been answered - unless it's been answered to you fifteen times and you keeps ignoring the answers. I appreciate your willingness to put it to the test or whatever exactly it is you're trying for. :)

An intro thread isn't needed but I know the temptation and hell, why not? And sincethe thread is started, maybe it could be the place to discuss your overall CT mindset, and such, with any i-depth specifics discussed elsewhere. A thought.

Also, how do I change my avatar?

You need 50 posts to be able to have an avatar & just 15 to post an url.

Hey Cafetimes/Brian, hello and welcome!
I 'm glad to see you won't let CT thinking get in the way of your dream of becoming a doctor.

I wrote a short paper last year about vaccines and their safety, I'd be glad to dig out my references and email them to you sometime if you'd like.
