Ok, i've been trying to figure this out for quite some time. And i'm currently at a standstill.
At work we (barely) have an office, almost everyone is in different parts of the country all the time, so making a common schedule can be pretty hard.
As it is, I have to try and find a good way to have shared calenders between all of these people, but sadly almost everything i find is unusable in one way or another.
So, now i'm asking here in desperation.
Requirements:
1) Be web based(we currently do some stuff with google calendars, we have a google apps acount).
2) Ability to sync calendars, with the normal options of (view/edit, view only, free/busy).
3) Be able to group the calendars together.
This is what it currently looks like.

The google calendars take up three lines each(well, two lines and a space).
So, if i want to share those 16 calendars in the group called bla(each person has about 16 calendars each) it is going to be 48 lines in the left side of iCal, per person. Which is quite unmanagable.
I DID find something that looked a bit better, a program called busycal(which syncs fine with google calendars).
Busycal just had one line for each calendar, but it didn't support groups. Which still means i have to (un)click 16 calendars per user.
Now, for reasons i can't comprehend nor explain, my Boss(tm) refuses a lot of alternatives(sunbird for instance). She would have gone with busycal if it supported groups.
Basically, the only thing i need is a way to take those google calendars in the screenshot i posted above, and put them into a group, in either iCal, or a program that looks almost exactly like iCal(don't ask).
I literally have no idea where to look for this...
Sincerely
Me.
