Look, I know schadenfreude at truthers fighting truthers can seem like a good thing, and shamefully, I've indulged in it too at times. But in spite of that, I'm not really sure this is something that should be celebrated. Conspiracy fantasists getting personal is a shameful, disgusting spectacle, and even though I fully agree that those guys shouldn't have been using their company resources to forward 9/11 conspiracy fantasy, it's just declassé to make the battle public. These guys are a seriously odd pair. Craig, comes across as though he may have been a reasonable person at some point. He sounds intelligent, and thoughtful. Yet, he's bent on pushing this agenda of his, no matter the cost, and regardless of whatever possible allies he may permanently push away in his "burn the bridges" campaign.

Aldo on the other hand, seems to have absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever. His profane rants, and personal threats, are disgusting. I suppose Craig keeps him around because he see's him as "the muscle" behind their little cottage business. Reminds me of a dull want-to-be mafia enforcer type. He talks loud, and then tucks tail and runs. I understand they work together. Craig, most likely already employed, got the job for his cheerleader/enforcer. Mutually beneficial. I agree! I also support the way ElMondoHummus respectfully hid the images. Personally I lost friends in the towers and no longer watch any videos containing the collapses.

That said I think that for respect of the victims we should adopt a policy of "view at your own discretion". Face it, we are not CSI uncovering new ground where analyzing and scrutinizing these images will bring forth any new insight.

Agreed. I have some trouble looking at them myself. Which is why I gave the warning I did above. They're hard to look at. It's like the videos of the jumpers; you're watching the last moments of innocent people who's only mistake that day was to show up to work or their flight as expected. And that's hard to take. "Punch in the gut" doesn't come close to describing the feeling. There are times I just think of the links - not actually view them, but rather just think of those web pages - and the sensations of that day come back rather strong. The utter silence where I work while we watched the event on what was our videoconferencing TV (someone ran out and bought some rabbit ear antennas for it). The co-worker who left the room crying. Me and a buddy after work staring at the TV just saying "that was not right"... a sentence that may read as a total understatement, but is missing the flat heat and emotion we had. Yes... the more explicit evidence links are hard real to view. But they're genuine history.

A person doesn't necessarily need to actually see those images to acknowledge the reality of the day. But they need to acknowledge their existence. And fools who deny the images are beneath contempt.

I don't follow the CIT bunch and the no-planers at the Pentagon because I know that an entire Flight 77 and passengers was found inside the crash site.

Reading the above, it sounds like the CITers are not arguing that Flt77 didn't hit the Pentagon, it just didn't take the path that the standard story says did.

They just take things where the evidence leads them, except for, well lets just list the things that Craig wants you to take on faith:

1. a world psychological operation of mass murder.

2. a crime

3. powerful sociopaths who have the resources to commit... a crime of this nature.

4. Complete control of the damage to their own headquarters

5. and who was murdered down to surgical precision.

6. If it WAS Flight 77 it would be impossible to pull off the way they did in the area they did due to the complex topography and landscape making it so.

7.This is why only 125 people were killed inside the building when if any other part was actually hit by a plane, thousands would have died.

8. They could have easily commissioned the renovation contractors to create a couple of "top secret" rooms and even had them move a bunch of "top secret" crates full of plane parts in them and the contractors would have been none the wiser.

9. As far as decent sized pieces outside, there weren't many and they were suspiciously uncharred.

10. NONE of these pieces have been positively identified to Flt 77.

11. The semi-large pieces outside could have easily been planted during all the chaos.

2. The CIT hanger-on Dom keeps on starting threads over at LCF which garner little to no response from the truthers in general. He's really trying to get his Shanksville conspiracy off the ground, but it just does not seem to want to lift off.

2. The CIT hanger-on Dom keeps on starting threads over at LCF which garner little to no response from the truthers in general. He's really trying to get his Shanksville conspiracy off the ground, but it just does not seem to want to lift off.

My personal theory is that everything was stuffed into an extradimensional pocket. The explosion everyone witnessed was a Hollywood-type effect to cover up the quantum dynamite that ripped open this pocket, causing it to spew forth its contents.

I don't think it is obsessing and there is only 1 thread about the CIT and infact this thread hadn't been posted to in over a week before being topped.
You could say the same thing about many other truther superstars such as Gage, Jones, etc etc etc. They pretty much should all be ignored.
I mean really 9-11 truth as a whole has failed miserably and in 7 years HASNT PRODUCED 1 CONVICTION as a result of their supposed evidence.
Their attempts to take action within the court system HAS FAILED MISERABLY.
Now we are left here at JREF with mostly truther trolls and anti-semites.

I must admit that every time I see a thread singling out the Citizen Investigation Team I have to shake my head. Why smart people waste time on charlatans and the willfully ignorant is beyond me. Those losers aren't worth the effort! When someone here starts a thread about what's going on there they are, in my opinion, validating the existence of the CIT.

This is the wrong message to send.
There is essentially only 1 thread about them that is active and in fact this thread was dead for a almost a week before it was topped. The other main CIT thread is dead as well.

You can say "it was planted"...but exactly when did the insiders have the opportunity to plant all the plane parts inside the building? Obviously they couldn't have planted the parts before the crash, as there was no hole in the building, and people were working in that area. They couldn't have done it after the crash, as hundreds of witnesses were still in the area. So when exactly did they plant the plane debris?

I have to admit, of all the insanity spewed forth by blindingly misnamed 9/11 Truth Movement, sitting at just about the bottom on the believability scale is the so-called Pentagon flyover theory. Really, it just utterly baffles me that anyone with a passing acquaintance with reality and sanity gives it even the remotest credibility, because nowhere can I think of an idea that is so easily and completely proven untrue.

To illustrate just how trivially the flyover thing can be vaporized into quarks, I'll cite a little parable: One time a king was touring the countryside, traveling from town to town in an effort to meet his subjects. Each village tried to outdo the other in its display of affection and celebration for the king's visit. These celebrations invariably included the time-honored tradition of gathering up all the cannons in town and firing them into the air as the king approached.

Well, the king's entourage arrived in this one hamlet, and there was plenty of music and cheering, but no cannons. The king's secretary immediately pulled the town's mayor aside and asked why there was no customary cannon fire. "Three reasons, Your Honor" the nervous mayor replied. "First, we loaned all our cannons to the neighboring town because they're preparing for a battle, so none are here at the moment..." The secretary, being a busy no-nonsense type of person, immediately interrupted the mayor with "In that case, never mind the other two reasons."

I'm reminded of that little story whenever I think of the CIT boys and their demented little flyover fantasy. Because I can imagine explaining to someone that there's perhaps 100 good reasons the flyover theory can be disproven to I'll-literally-bet-my-life-on-it certainty.
