OK, there's a TV programme on tonight that states that Delaware is the only state that doesn't have a National Park.
So...
1. Is this true?
2. If so, why not?
3. How do Delawarians feel about this?
4. Is Delawarians the right word?
Mods: Meant to post this in the History... folder. Please move. Ta!

As far as I am aware, Delaware is a state. But I (and others;)) could be wrong.

It does sound like the real conspiracy is about making people believe Delaware is a state!
Everyone knows Pennsylvania was the first to sign off on the Constitution. So why do THEY want us to believe "Delaware" did it first?

So what? It's a small state. It has an Air Force base.

Don't you guys know anything? Delaware is the most evil state in the union (http://corp.delaware.gov/):
More than 850,000 business entities have their legal home in Delaware including more than 50% of all U.S. publicly-traded companies and 63% of the Fortune 500.

So the Federal government managed to not seize some land in one of 50 states, and that's the problem?!?!? :boggled:
Vast swaths of western states were required to cough up land as the price of statehood.

Don't you guys know anything? Delaware is the most evil state in the union (http://corp.delaware.gov/):
Delaware has extremely corporate-friendly laws. http://www.companiesinc.com/incorporate/delaware.asp
For that reason, many yachts moored in NY are registered in Delaware.

Not a national park, though, and within the Dept of the Interior, that is a fair to middlin' sized distinction, especially as regards resources.
It sort of amazes me that have the space for a national rec area.
