He is not sure of what...or why...or when. But it will be soon. He doesn't know if it will be an attack...or a decision...or what.
But it will be soon. He says this:
"Forgive me if this thread sounds alarmist or like the usual dime o' dozen 'OMG we're gunna dye" threads...but...I really have an odd feeling. I know....it's been said before...and yes, it's redundant. I totally agree.
I have no clue where or when, all I feel is 'soon'...meaning really soon. I don't know how big, but I get a feeling of a 'decision' with maybe an event. More 'decision' than event though. Or an event based on a decision...like a reaction to something. Yes it's vague, it sucks."
I think this guy is really on to something.
I think we should really take this guy seriously and look into this one.
This is the most detailed prediction a Truther has ever made.
And this time, I fear, the 9-11 Truthers may be right!!!

can you provide any evidence that he is wrong?

But I know exactly what the event is! Geelong will make a decision to bring Brad Ottens back for the finals next month, and Geelong, based purely on that decision (and the subsequent event), will be AFL Premiers in 2009. I want my Million.

I love Australian Rules Football! Unfortunately all I can find here in the U.S. is snips and summaries of various matches. Yuk.

So, his prediction is that somewhere, somehow, a decision will be made and a plan of action will be implemented?
My god, he's right.
I was hungry earlier, so I decided to go to McDonald's for a few McDoubles.
Then I did it.

Well, I made the last-minute decision to go see the midnite premiere of Inglorius Basterds tonight. It was a decision about an event. Does that count?

well, now that this Truther has predicted the NWO's evil plans for a major decision followed by a major event, the NWO will no doubt CANCEL their plans for a soon-to-come...major decision/major event.
And, in the event that no major decision and no major event takes place soon, this Truther can claim vindication. The absence of a decision and a event will be PROOF of a canceled decision/event!!

What is it with truthers/conspiracy theorists/whackos in general that makes them so determined to believe in and predict utter doom? Are their lives just so empty and without meaning that not only do they have to create conspiracy fantasies to make them interesting, but they have to hope and pray for entertainment to bring excitement to their dull lives?
Really, it seems to be the only 100% constant thing about conspiracy - no matter who the woo is or what the conspiracy is about. Doom - utter, complete, catastrophic doom that will kill us all - is always just around the corner for them. And no amont of predicting said doom and getting it wrong 100% of the time seems to dissuade them from this notion.

I had to edit the dialogue a bit, since the original made even less sense.

Drat, he's stumbled onto the founding doctrine of the NWO/Illuminati/One World Government:
"People do things, it's a fact."
Our shilling is useless against such solid arguments.

without doom, without fear, without "they", without "them", conspiracy theorists have nothing to live for.
such a sad...sad state of affairs.

^..Heres a prediction from a conspiracy theorist (AntiLieGuy) that i copy and pasted into a notepad file for kicks. Originally posted in the comment section of the "Fighting The New World Order" video. Apparently he has access to confidential information we don't. And the fact he believe in "chemtrails" really tells me he's simple minded.

I believe I can offer a possible reason, because I occasionally have similar thoughts (although on a much more personal level).
They see successful people everywhere—financially successful, socially successful, romantically successful—and while they, themselves, may not have it that bad, they have this feeling that things could be so much better for them.
For a lot of people, just wanting to do something is motivation enough to make it happen; even the slightest desire. For most conspiracy theorists, it isn't. There's something holding them back.
So, they hope for some event so profound... so tragic... that they have no choice but to become the person they feel they should be (and that's not to say "Ruler of the World"; just... something better).
Some people, like me, are capable of recognizing that whatever is holding us back is completely internal. Other people, like conspiracy theorists, apparently feel that this obstacle is external (Them™). Neither group, however, knows how to get out of their trap, so they hope—that sick, twisted hope—for some shattering blow from outside to break them free.
My dark, personal connection with conspiracy theorists... as I see it, anyway...

I keep telling our bosses at the New World Order that we shouldn't be so obvious, but do they listen?

You keep forgetting: They want the sheeple to know, so they can mock them and laugh. Because they're just that evil.
Now, since the NWO wants them to know, the real question is why did we make them sheeple in the first place?

A nuclear device will be detonated in Cleveland on October 15th, 2009.
See? Now that I have revealed this info, the NWO will cancel their plans..and the event will not occur!! I have saved the world...and the absence of the event proves I was right!!
Muhahahaha!!

I have yet to see a 911 traitor prediction come true...
Constant claims that the NWO is ready to pounce at any minute and bring enslavement and genocide, doom and gloom, etc, that's always just around the corner. Or that the mass population will suddenly buy into their nonsense at any moment. Or every other week they have a new "smoking gun" that will finally show us all and prove their little fantasy. Bush was supposedly the end game guy. Now Obama is supposedly the end game guy. Etc, etc, etc...
Then they wonder how we know they are nuts...

.
Now now, lets not call them traitors just yet. They are 9-11 Deniers. They deny the truth about what happened on 9-11.
Being insane, stupid, gullible, paranoid, emotionally unstable and vulnerable, isn't treason.

I have friends that believe in these theories, some of them quite intelligent, and they're good people, and I wouldn't really agree with the description Cl1mh gave. But something certainly isn't right.
If the person who posted the original comment is as worried as he makes out then that's pretty worrying and clearly needs help. I find a lot of people who claim that they're going to start culling people and putting them into the coffins in the desert are surprisingly calm about the whole thing (considering) and their motivation in telling you doesn't seem to come as a warning as much as an attack on the NWO and them wanting you to believe it as well.

Well, what I said wasn't an attempt to explain the initial belief in wacky ideas. It was just a possible explanation for the apparent inclination some conspiracy theorists have to "hope" for something bad to happen.

They lie and make a mockery of one of the most tragic events of our history. While they side with our enemies and accuse our entire gov't, (except of course their messiah Ron Paul), many other organizations, groups, and individuals, along with most of our population, with being the real perpetrators, involved or complicit. They attack everyone and everything our country stands for and side with every enemy we have. They openly long for the day when the country is dismantled and destroyed and they can gleefully kill everyone that opposed them.
They sure look like traitors to me.

That is the motivation for some, but probably not all. I think there is a part of human nature that wants every major, paradigm shifting action to be a large-scale, well-planned plot instead of just one or two lunatics. It's far more exciting and intriguing to unravel a huge plot than to just find a few lunatics who were deluded, determined, and lucky enough to pull off an attack that affects the lives of many. I think many CTs look at their own lives, feel that they don't have much control over the outside world, and come to the false conclusion that because they can't envision how a few people can change the entire world, that it's impossible for anyone to do so.
