This started because I watched Glenn Beck (soley for entertainment) and he claimed that the Obama stimulus bill was somehow directed by Jeff Jones, formerly of the Weather Underground. (Through the Apollo Alliance)

Now from what I can tell J. Jones is the director of the New York office of the AA but not like the executive director. So what link is there really to say that Obama is being advised by this person?
Hmmm.
We can see what sort of traction this gets, Hannity's forum had a hit.
Bill Ayers, Jeff Jones, Obama is the antichrist!

Post here and Beck can associate you with a socialist associated with an organization that endorsed Obama in 1996!
Limited time offer!
And I'm peeved with the behavioural economists that Obama loves and nominates to controlling positions, why didn't I realize he was surrounded by Marxists  .
And I think people need to get things straight in their head. Marx was a Communist, and that falls under Socialism, but not all Socialists are Marxist. And Fascism is completely different. BTW, just recently he decided we were going to fascism and not socialism... Guess there wasn't a web for that to draw on a chalkboard?

I saw this today as well. Beck has to know he looks like a total crackpot with his charts. But it is still interesting nonetheless if any of it is true.

I don't watch Glen Beck, but a glance at that chalkboard didn't leave me with the impression that the person drawing the diagram was serious.
For one thing, its done on a chalkboard. News rooms don't use those. It being there means it was probably a "prop" for a "bit".
People who take Glen Beck really seriously should probably go back and watch Morton Downey Jr clips from his 2 year trolling of the primetime airwaves. That show was a pure put-on but there were people who identified with it and people repulsed by it who thought it was serious.
Sort of like pro-wrestling.

It is a prop and this "bit" is a week long special about the czars and basically anything he can attach to them that sounds evil. Some of it is probably true. I don't know. I don't care enough to research it.
Seriously everything Beck does is for attention. That's why he's so "flamboyant" as O'Reilly put it.

You know there are people who think they really wrestle?

What are the chances both Bill Ayers and Jeff Jones are connected to Obama? Coincidence? I think not.

The leaders of the Weather Underground are now the political commissars of the Obama administration.

Jeff Jones, finally captured, sentenced to probation and more, served his sentence, moved on to more respectable ways to pursue his agenda. This is how America works.

Actually, Fox seems to be doing this everywhere.
I think Rove started the trend.
Don't ask me why.

Yes, Jeff Jones and the others like him in the czar positions have found a more acceptable way to achieve their ends and achieve their ends they will with the help of their community organizer friend Obama. What are those ends? It has already started, take advantage of the economic crisis, make it seem bigger than it is, overwhelm the system with bill after bill that has to be passed so fast they can't even allow time for them to be read, destroy the middle class and take power in order to produce the utopian state where we are all dependent on big government. However, as in most places where this is tried the elite ruling class, always has theirs. Congress has made sure they get theirs e.g. best health plans, best pension payouts, etc. and the Jeff Jones of this government will make sure they get theirs. They already have seen to it that their activist groups will receive megabucks from the stimulus bill which was actually written with the help of SEIU and the Apollo Alliance.
They have infiltrated the Catholic Church as well. The CCHD has been granting money to groups like ACORN for years through the Bishops diocesan fund. Interesting days are ahead.

Thanks fior playing! And welcome to the Forum.
try citing sources to back you statements like this one
"Yes, Jeff Jones and the others like him in the czar positions have found a more acceptable way to achieve their ends and achieve their ends they will with the help of their community organizer friend Obama."
Thanks in advance for whatever evidence you provide.
What czar are YOU reffering to?

Sorry, VAN Jones is the Green Jobs Czar. He has been quoted as recently as March 09..."I am willing to forego the cheap satisfaction of the radical pose for the deep satisfaction of the radical ends." This goes to his intent to acheive the same ends but in a less controversial way.
He is a self-proclaimed communist and said he became one when he was jailed after the Rodney King demonstrations.
Jeff Jones is the head of the New York Apollo Alliance. Too many Jones, I got the first name mixed up. Jeff Jones is co founder of the Weathermen with Bill Ayers. That is another tale.

So you have one czar, that is what you cite, how about your use of the 'czar positions '?

Obama has appointed over 30 czars. Remember the "Drug Czar" of the 70s? Other presidents have had anywhere from one to seven czars. They answer only to the president; they are not vetted nor approved by congress. The white house has taken some exception to calling them czars which they were happy to do until some pundits became alarmed at the sheer number of them and then the leftist background of some of them. Call them czars or don't call them czars, it makes no difference. Some of them are mainstream but others like Van Jones, Mark Lloyd and John Holdren have some way out views of the world and how it should be.
Surely you heard of the Pay czar at the time of the bail out. Kenneth Feinberg, will keep tabs on executive pay at companies in bailout; Diversity Czar Mark Lloyd is a big fan of Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez; Science czar, John Holdren, director of the White House's Office of Science and Technology Policy, considered compulsory abortions and other Draconian measures to shrink the human population in a 1977 science textbook.
These are just a few, others can be found by way of Google or you may even hear what they have had to say in a variety of speeches on YouTube.

Wow what a lot of uncited material, and excuse me the technology czar deteremines birth control policy.
Are you sure that is relevant or just quote mining?
Why should I care about Feinberg?
Oh, Hugo Chavez, some stink of sulpher there?
You need to try harder. So far you just seem to be making irrelevant comments about advisors to Obama. :)
ETA: I am sure that the influence they have is just as strong as Dick Cheney had on Bush, right?
What about the idiots who argued that collapsing Iraqi society would lead to a glorious capitalist paradise.
How about some advisors and their policies amongst the czars.
You knwo this is the JREF, the battle cry is: Data and evidence?

Irrelevant? Barack Obama told us during the campaign to judge him by those with whom he surrounds himself. At that time he cited Volker, Bernanke and Gates. Now I see who else he has advising him and they do have an odor about them.
We don't know what these czars will determine. All we can do is look to what they have written or spoken regarding the theories they espouse. I say it is best to be very watchful of what transprires.
Van Jones and Holdren have both written books regarding their views. Mark Lloyd and Van Jones have both been quoted from speeches they have given. I suppose I could provide the exact speech for you but frankly I don't have the time, especially since you don't seem to have an open mind to anything critical regarding the Obama administration.
Use some common sense - The old addage, "If you sleep with dogs you get fleas" has some truth to it.
