Typical creationist argument:
You can't get something from nothing.
Therefore God created something from nothing.
Facts:
Cosmologists don't posit that the big bang necessitates that something came from nothing.
Creationsts do, in fact, posit that something came from nothing (they just haven't thought it through yet and confuse that which makes something with that which something is made from).
Please see the following video for an indepth analysis of this inherent flaw of creationism.

FWIW: Not all creationists believe in "creatio ex nihilo" (creation out of nothing). Mormons are an example of theists who believe in "creatio ex materia" (creation out of pre-existing matter).
If you are a creationist then you better think carefuly before you solve your contridiction through "ex materia". Remember, the argument starts with the premise "everything had a cause". If god didn't create the chaotic flotsam and jetsam, the building blocks of the unverse, then that premise is moot.

And explains the immortal and Universal phrase (edited for the sensitive and corruptible): feces happen!:D
